"Lina-ah! It's me! What happened?" he was moving forward. As Lina was sitting right beside the wall she doesn't have another way to move.
"Please! I beg you! Please stay away from me." she was trying to say loudly but her broken voice didn't let her talk loudly. Dae Ju stopped and stand still. He tried to understand what happened to her. Why she was acting like this. She was behaving like she doesn't know him.
"Why you are doing this to me? What did I do wrong?" he asked with a very disappointed voice. He felt bad for her and angry at him whoever makes her like this. She wanted to escape from him suddenly. She was scared of him as he was a monster.
Lina suddenly stood up and tried to run but she was too weak that she falls on the floor. Dae Ju understands that it was him from whom Lina wanted to escape. But why? He has no idea. He wanted to know. Lina stood up again and she was trying to run from there again. But Dae Ju grabbed her arm suddenly and make her look at him. Disappointed him, she didn't look at him. She closed her eyes and her face was shrunk like she was afraid of him.
"Look at me! Why you are behaving like this?" Dae Ju said loudly. Listening his voice, she got more afraid. As Dae Ju was holding her hand he could feel that she was shivering. He understood and left her arm. When she understood that she was free from his grab, she didn't look back and went upstairs as soon as possible. Though she was weak she gained the strength to escape from there. Dae Ju couldn't understand anything. Everything was going up from his head but he was very disappointed so he was standing in his position like he was a statue. He looked at his hand and felt like he was forgetting something and he has to remember it. But he couldn't. After some minutes, he went to upstairs slowly without making a single sound. He wanted to enter his room but it was locked from inside. He got afraid because there were so many things going on inside his mind. He tried to open the door but he couldn't. He knocked on the door again and again because he knew that Lina was inside.
*KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK*
He was hitting the door continuously but there was no single sound coming from inside.
"Lina-ah! Lina-ah! Open the door please! Let me come in! Why you are acting like this? I don't know what happened to you but this is not fair. Tell me what happened. I will help you. I will....." he was hitting on the door continuously and when he was saying these suddenly Lina opened the door. She thought he was acting normal though he wasn't.
As Dae Ju was blocking the entrance she couldn't get out from there. She wanted to go out from the house as soon as possible. Looks like she washed her face and tried to remove the marks from her face but she failed. She tied up her hair and changed the dress which gets dirty for some reason. She was looking normal except for the red injured marks on her face. She has a bag in her hand and seems like she filled the bag with her clothes or something. Dae Ju wanted to talk with her so he was entering the room. But when he looked at her he saw her surprised face. She was looking at something behind him and make a scared face. Dae Ju felt curious and slowly turned back but he saw nothing.
Suddenly Lina pushed him and he moved backward. She found some place to escape from there and start running. Actually, she make a trick and Dae Ju fall for it. Before Dae Ju understands anything, she vanished from there. Dae Ju stayed like that once again.
Today she couldn't wear her scarf because she was in a hurry. But her face was looking mysterious and that's why people were looking at him with their curious eyes and many of them made stories by guessing in their mind. She was walking on the street though she doesn't know where she should go.
"Look at her face! Isn't it Lina? What happened to her?" a lady was saying to another.
"Maybe her husband beat her up again. I told her many times to get divorced but she doesn't listen to me at all! Now, see! What he did to her!" another lady said.
"Who cares? She destroyed her own life!" said the previous lady.
"Hey! Look at her! I think she got r**ed." said a girl to another while looking at her.
"So sad! How could this happen? I feel bad for her!" said another girl. Lina was hearing all of these but she was kept walking unbothered by anything. She needs to hide her face and that's why she put a face mask and start walking again. As she couldn't sleep last night, she was sleepy and her body was weak that she couldn't continue walking anymore. She went to the salon though it was closed for the new year. She went inside from the back door as she has the key to that door. As nobody was there, the place was a little dirty. All the lights were turned off but the place was not that dark because of the sunlight. She cleaned the floor and spread a cloth on the floor then she lied down on it. She closed her eyes but couldn't get sleep as the floor was too cold. She gets up and sits down on a customer chair. She looked at the mirror and saw her own face. There was a deep red mark near her lips. She tried to touch it but it hurts when she touched it. She couldn't understand what she should do. She put on her mask again and come out of the salon and locked the door again.
"Excuse me!" someone said from behind.
"Yes?" she turned around and saw a guy was standing behind her. He was wearing a mask too. Lina couldn't recognize him at first because he was wearing black sunglasses and his eyes were not even seen. He has a black cap on his head and seems like he was a theft. So, Lina supposed that he was a robber and got afraid.
"Sorry! Our salon is closed for today." saying that she started walking. She was trying not to look back but she looked back and saw that the guy was following her. She increased her speed and realized that the stalker also increased his speed. Finding no other way she thinks to go back home but when she remembered about last night, her body started trembling and she dropped her idea. She started running though she couldn't. Her legs were also injured and she couldn't run fast. She could feel that the guy was still following her. She went inside a shop to stay safe from that guy. Though she has nothing to buy, she was acting like she was shopping. She took a long time for choosing one single item and hoped that the stalker went away. She searched for the guy but he was nowhere. She was trying to recognize but she couldn't. His body shape was familiar but she couldn't remember who was it. It can't be Rumi because he has a more wide body. Though he was wearing a loose jacket, it could be understandable that he was quite thin. She was too. worried that she didn't notice but she filled her cart with many things. When she came to billed the items, she was surprised.
"Ah! I am sorry! I didn't need everything! I will keep them in their position." saying this gently, she went from there and keep those things in their previous position. She came back with two cup noodles and billed them. Then she came outside but as she was afraid, she checked everywhere and she felt relieved when she saw the guy was not there.
"Whooh!" she took a long breath and start walking again. She planned to go to her so-called dad's house to spend some time with him. She started walking to the path which is leading to her dad and Dae Ju's enemy's house. The street was empty as always. She was walking with her weak and injured body slowly. Suddenly she could feel an unexpected silence there. She looked back but nobody was there. She thought it was in her mind and start walking again. But after some minutes, she could hear some footsteps so she stopped. The sound was also stopped. She thought it was her own footsteps but it was not. She kept walking and the sound kept following her. There was a small playground near that road. There were some Christmas trees which have been kept there after using them for Christmas. There was a big tree beside the entrance. When Lina was passing by the ground, her bag fall from her hand suddenly and she stopped to take it back. When she stood up, a hand came to her and grabbed her arm and pulled her to the ground. She got so afraid that she wanted to scream but no sound was coming from her mouth. She was pulled by that man who came to Lina a while ago. He took her under the tree and stuck her with it. He stood in front of her and hold her mouth so that she couldn't scream or escape from there. Lina closed her eyes and tried to say something.
"Look at me! It's me! Why you are doing this?" the guy said. This time his voice seems familiar to Lina so she opened her eyes slowly. He put off his sunglasses and mask and Lina felt relieved when she saw his face. He pulled his hand down but he was too close to her. Actually, he was standing that close to her so that she can't escape from him.
"You! You scared me!" Lina said. She was still wearing her mask but the boy could recognize her from far and he was following her since morning.
"Why you kept doing this to me?" he asked with a very disappointed face.
"What?" she asked him.
"You were ignoring me! I sent you so many text messages, voice messages, video messages but you didn't even see them! You blocked my contact and that's why I couldn't call you! Why?" he asked with a very sad and loud voice.
"Hey! You are too close!" Lina said and pushed him. He moved backward but he wants his answers.
"I can't talk with you. If anyone see us together there will be a huge trouble," she said with a low voice and wanted to go away from there.
"You have to answer me. I won't let you go anywhere!" he said and come to her again to block her way.
"I don't need to answer you. Now leave me," said Lina.
"Was it for that accident? I know you didn't do that willingly. I didn't mind." he was loud but when he remembered about the kiss he calmed down.
"I kinda enjoy that," he said with a very low voice.
"What? Kid, do you know what happened? It's not because of me! It's all because of you!" she said now her voice is loud. Since she was wearing a mask, her voice was not that clear.
"Kid? Did you just call me kid? For the last time, I am saying that I am not a kid!(loud then calmed down). I missed you so much! I can't live without you!" his voice was adorable.
"Hoon-ah! I am not ignoring you because it's hampering me? Didn't you watch that video? If you kept doing the same again, what will happen in your future? You are just 21! You have a long bright future! Don't ruin it for someone else!" she was trying to make him understand gently.
"I managed all of that! And that's why I am in this suit. Nobody will recognize me! Just chill!" he said in a cool way.
"Hey! I can't meet you and that's final. Leave the way! I have to go!" she was trying to go away but he kept blocking her way.
"Why? Just go!" she shouted.
"No! Until you won't unblock my number, I won't let you go!" he came more closer. Lina put off her mask, she forgot about the scars and marks on her face. She was going to tell at him but before that Yeon Hoon noticed her face and looked into her eyes.
"I AM 22 AND....What happened? How you got marks? Did anyone....." he was curious and in shock. Lina couldn't give him an answer right then. She looked down and he touched her cheek lightly.
