It's getting dark outside. The people have celebrated their new day of the new year. Now, some of them were going home, some of them were going on a long drive with their family or friends. Some of them were going to the countryside to meet their old parents or grandparents. As it was getting darker, all the lights started to lightning again and that's why the road couldn't become dark fully. The weather was cooler than the last night so people have to put more warm clothes.
Dae Ju was walking through the street alone. He promised to Mr. Park that he will meet him at the park. He was walking slowly while watching the view of the small road. He usually couldn't see the sight because of his busyness. He likes to watch little kids playing. As it was the night of the new year, kids were playing on their own way on the road. Their parents also let them play together as it was their holiday. The kids were acting like a grown-up but they didn't know the reality was hard for a grown-up man. He said in his mind, "Kids, you are living in peace! Don't ruin your childhood by dreaming to become an adult!"
He smiled and start walking again. A group of high schoolers was gossiping on a roadside. They all were enjoying their time. Dae Ju was passing by the young girl and boys. He could hear them talking. And they were talking about his team. So, he stopped walking and acted like he has to cross the road.
"Did you go to the concert yesterday?" asked a girl.
"Yeah! My girlfriend was so stubborn and I finished up going with her! Tell me one thing, why you girls Stan them? What is special in them?" said a boy.
"You boys can never understand. But, I think yesterday they looked perfect. Don't you guys agree?" said another girl.
"Why?" asked the boy who answered before. Dae Ju was happy to hear that but he couldn't stay happy any longer.
"Kim Dae Ju was not there. I think he is getting old and he doesn't belong to the team anymore! It was perfect without him. But we have to miss him because the others were too much emotional for him. They don't understand that everybody has to go. Nobody can stay in their position forever!" said the girl.
"Yeah, I agree."
"Me too," said some of them.
"Hey! How could you say so! They are not perfect if they are not seven together!" a girl refused to agree with them.
"Ah! You and your bias! Didn't you even noticed that there are some wrinkles on his face! I wish he never come back again!" said the girl who was against Dae Ju.
"That's normal. He is a human not a vampire! And how could you say such a thing! You should pray for him so that he can get well soon!" said the girl who has a crush on Dae Ju.
"Hey! I think you should change your love for him now! You are too younger than him! Why don't you Stan the other teams that are younger than them and I am sure you definitely fall for one or two. They all are really so handsome! And you girls just need handsome face not more than that!" said a boy mockingly and laughed all the other boys.
"Hey! Don't loosen my mouth! You boys are just looking for the sexy girls' nothing else!" the girls and boys started quarreling.
Dae Ju silently walked away from there. He felt disappointed and discouraged together. People don't want him anymore. He has to leave the place to the new people. If he stays in his position for a long time, he might end up getting hate from people not love. He decided when he could able to go back into his body, he will meet the PD first. He will tell him that he is ready to go to the military. And after returning from there, he will become a solo singer. His one more dream is becoming the solo singer for drama's OST. So, he will do that after going back. And this time he determined his destination and will not desperate from it. Though he will not happy without his teammates, he has to go. That girl was right. Nobody can stay in their position forever. Seems like the kids opened his eyes but actually, they just hurt him from inside. He was thinking while walking. Suddenly his phone starts ringing and he stopped thinking. He took the phone and saw it was detective Park.
"Where are you?" he asked.
"I am on my way." Dae Ju answered. "Hurry up! We don't have all day for you," he said. Seems like he was not in good mood as always.
"We? Didn't you say I have to meet you alone? Then why are you saying WE? Is there someone else with you?" he felt curious and asked.
"Just hurry up and come!" detective Park cut the line of the phone without giving him a reply. Dae Ju was confused about the detective. Is he really a good guy? Can Dae Ju trust him? Will he really help Dae Ju? What if he will be also a villain like the detectives in drama! He couldn't think more and actually, he doesn't have any other choice but to trust him. He reached the park. Many people were spending their time in the park. Most of them were a couple. Dae Ju was scanning every corner of the park with his eyes. But he couldn't find Mr. Park anywhere.
"He told me to come here! He called me and said that he has no time! Then, where is he?" Dae Ju was annoyed with him.
"Ajusshi!" a little kid was pulling his jacket. Dae Ju looked down and saw the kid. He couldn't understand the baby's gender as it was too small and cute.
"Yes?" Dae Ju bends down and asked. He thought the kid lost his parents and that's why he came to him.
"He is calling you!" the kid pointed at the other side of the road. A man was standing in front of the light stand.
"That uncle?" he pointed at that guy and asked the kid.
"Hm-hm." the kid shakes his head and answered cutely. Dae Ju finds him very cute and couldn't hold himself from touching him.
"Oh, okay. Do I have to come with you?" he put his hand on the kid's smooth hair and asked.
"Yes." saying this the kid holds his index finger and starts walking. Dae Ju was not prepared for that so he got unbalanced but controlling himself he walked with the kid. He had to bend down as the kid was too little. They carefully crossed the road and went to that guy. He was the detective and he called Dae Ju.
"Ah! You are here? I was searching for you." Dae Ju said looking at him.
"Come with me." Mr. Park said and looked at the kid.
"Come to daddy! Wanna ride on dad's shoulder?" he asked with a very adorable voice. The kid ran to him and extended his hand towards him. Dae Ju could understand that the little cute kid was actually Mr. Park's child.
"She is cute." Dae Ju said hesitatingly because he was not sure if it's he or she. And as expected he was wrong.
"You should rather say he is cute." Mr. Park said while taking the kid on his shoulder. The kid was sitting like it was his regular ride and he was clapping with his two hands.
"Ah! he was too cute that....By the way, How old is he?" Dae Ju asked.
"He will be three in this march." saying this coldly he start walking inside the park. Dae Ju started to follow them. Now he could understand why he was saying WE on the phone.
"What is his name?" Dae Ju asked again while walking.
"Mind your own business and just walk silently." said the detective and continued walking. They crossed the full park and Dae Ju couldn't understand where he was heading to. But he thought, wherever he was going Dae Ju should better stay silent and follow him. So, he was following him silently. After some time, they stopped near a house. It was not that big but it was a beautiful house. This house was not decorated like others in the town. Maybe they didn't celebrate the new year or they were just too busy that they couldn't decorate it. *Ding Dong*
Mr. Park taps on the bell and it rang. After a few seconds, someone came and opened the door. They entered the house and told Dae Ju to come inside. Dae Ju also comes inside and saw a lady was standing in front of them. The lady was quite old. She was short enough and she has white hair.
"Where is your ma'am?" Mr. Park asked. Dae Ju could understand he must be mentioning his wife. The little kid climbed down from his shoulder and ran inside.
"Don't run that fast! You will fall!" the lady got afraid but seems like it's her regular duty to got afraid by the kid's doing.
"She is inside. She came about half an hour ago." the lady answered.
"Okay, tell her that I won't be available tonight. And I will spend the night in my practice room." saying this he looked at Dae Ju.
"Come with me." saying this by looking at Dae Ju, he went another way. Dae Ju followed him. He was looking at the house while walking. The house was neat and clean. There was a stair to go up but Mr. Park was staying on the ground floor. The floor was designed like it was made of wood. Actually, it was not. They were made from heavy tiles which were nearly unbreakable. He went inside a room and Dae Ju followed him. It was a small room. So, Dae Ju was confused about how he will be trained in this small room. As the room was empty and there was not much furniture, he was more confused. Mr. Park walked to the bed which was kept aside in the room. He kneels in front of the bed. Seeing this Dae Ju astonished and couldn't understand anything.
"Close the door." ordered detective Park. "Oh?" Dae Ju took some time to process his words then replied,
"Yes, I understand." he turned back and close the door properly. Suddenly the detective pulled the bed with his two hands and seeing this Dae Ju got afraid. He moved backward and looked at him with unbelievable eyes. *His body does not look so strong but he can pluck a whole bed with his two arms!* Dae Ju said in his mind. The detective put the bed on one side and looked at the floor. The floor was looking normal but there was a small handle. Mr. Park pulled the handle and Dae Ju was more surprised by seeing it.
It was a secret door of a secret base! He just watched something like that in movies and dramas but now he is experiencing it with his two eyes! He was so excited that he kept looking at him and his mouth remained open.
"Bugs will go in your mouth!" seeing him as this Mr. Park said.
"Um-hm!" he closed his mouth and looked at him carefully.
"Why you are standing there? Come on!" saying this Mr. Park went inside. Dae Ju followed him and carefully tried to go inside.
"Step carefully. It's stairs." saying this he vanished into the darkness. Dae Ju got afraid as he was afraid of darkness. He slowly stepped one foot down. Slowly he was coming downstairs and suddenly the darkness vanished. Actually, Detective Park went down and turn the lights on. Dae Ju could see everything now and come downstairs. The hall was quite big from the inside. There were glasses everywhere just like their dance practice room. There was a board kept in one corner. Seems like he used it for practicing gunshot. There were many things in that room but the room was so big that the staff was barely seen. But he didn't see any weapon there so it was strange to him. Dae Ju started to walk into the room and looking at everything as he was so curious.
"Come out. We have a newbie." said detective Park.
"Yes?" Dae Ju asked if he said to him because he didn't see any other in the room. Making him more surprised a girl came to them. She was in a black suit. She was wearing black gloves and black boots. There was a belt on her waist that gives her a very cool look. Her ponytail was not that big but it went down from her shoulder. Though her skin was a little tanned it makes her cooler.
