When Dae Ju was walking his way to his workplace he was thinking about the conversation with his friend's elder brother.
*What happened to him? Why he was that angry? Why he didn't come back for another audition?* Dae Ju thinks.
*He remembered that twelve boys passed the first audition and get into the company as trainees. But four was rejected when they were making a team. The rest eight were selected and the agency said that they will debut them as "Extreme Boys". All were happy to be selected but they were also sad for those four boys. Life was not so perfect but they were happy together. They spent a lot of time together because their agency was not debuting them for some issues. One day came when they finally got a chance to make a debut but they didn't know what was waiting for them. Mr. PD told them that one boy can't make a debut because they were gonna make seven boys team.
They all were curious and also afraid and Dae Ju was the one who was most nervous from all of them because he lacked skills of dance and also singing. He thought that he was rejected. He was so nervous that he felt cold on a hot summer day. But he was relieved when he heard his name when their manager called those names who were selected. Dae Ju's name was being called after Nam Gil and Min Jae's name. But they were all astonished when the manager didn't call Baek Kyung's name. He stills remember how they cried for him and begged their PD to rethink him but they refused. Baek Kyung was a great person with a great personality. He said that he is grateful that he could able to train with all of them. And it's his own bad luck and failure that he couldn't make a debut with them. He also said that he is grateful that they were selected. And he will be their first fan after their debut. He cried too because he didn't select and because he can't live with them from then.
Dae Ju was most closely with him and that's why he burst into tears when he had to say goodbye to him. Dae Ju also cried a lot and he begged the PD most. That time Baek Kyung said to him, "Hyung! Don't beg anyone. Never do this again. I am okay and I will be. But don't throw your pride on the other foot. Make a better world with your own skills and make them bow to you. I assure you that I will also shine one day and the whole world will be my fan. I will miss you." Dae Ju cried another time by hearing him but he listened to him and said that he was gonna miss him too.*
Dae Ju sighed by remembering those days. He was feeling so down that he doesn't notice he was already late for an hour. When he came to his workplace, he saw that the big door was closed.
"What? Did they close the door already? I am just...." he looked at his watch and was surprised.
"Whoa! S**t! How could this happen?" he rushed to the small gate. A watchman was sitting in front of the door. Not everyone can enter with this gate but Dae Ju has no offense if he uses this path as Lina was close to the owner.
"Rumi-sshi! You are late today! Let me open the gate for you." the man opened the gate and let him go inside. Dae Ju rushed to his office room and bowed to everyone for his guilt.
"I am sorry! I am late!" said Dae Ju to everyone.
"Oh! You finally realized that you are late?" said one of his colleagues and smiled.
"Ah! Something came up. Please try to understand." Dae Ju took those words heavily.
"Ah! Forget it! I was just kidding! It can happen." said that lady colleague who was wearing a white shirt and a black mini skirt. She was pretty as she always wore makeup. She has short hair which she never tied up. And whenever she talks, she behaves gently and puts a smile on her face which makes her more pretty.
But whenever she talks with Dae Ju, she gets shy but Dae Ju never noticed it since he couldn't look at girl's face. But if it's his mom or Seo Jin he could stare at them all day long. And now there is another girl's face Dae Ju can look at. He can spend his whole day just by looking at her and she is none but Lina.
"Ah!" Dae Ju smiled and going to take his seat. That time, the owner came, and seeing Dae Ju standing he asked, "what happened?"
"Ah! He just came." said the man who used to sit beside Dae Ju.
"Why? Why you are this late? I thought you were punctual!" surprised the old guy.
"Ah! Something came up urgent and I had to fix that," replied Dae Ju very gently. He looked at the floor because he couldn't able to match his eyes with the guy.
"Did you quarrel with Lina? If it was the reason then I will not forgive you since she is like my daughter. Got it?" the man thought Dae Ju and Lina quarreled and Dae Ju had to fix everything and that's why he was looking tired and down.
"No! It's not like that!" Dae was confused it he should tell him the truth or not.
"Let's get a fresh air." said the father figure of Lina.
"Okay," summoning the guy as sir Dae Ju agreed with him. Then both of them start walking outside.
"You can't do this every day! I can't forgive you every time! You should be careful from now on." said the old man.
"Sorry! I won't be late from now on." seeking forgiveness Dae Ju said again.
"I trust you! But if you come late one more day in this month, I will surely fire you and nobody could save you even if Lina begged me I won't forgive you. Got it?" the guy called him to threaten him but Dae Ju couldn't get that earlier. Now, he could get that and stayed silent.
"Yes, sir!" Dae Ju was very polite because it was his fault.
"Now, come to serious talk. We need another new worker. I am just saying you if you have any recommendations then you can tell me. I will give him a job but he has to be....." he couldn't say anymore as Dae Ju stopped him.
"No! I don't have any recommendations. Thanks! By the way, do you finding a replacement for that strange guy?" asked Dae Ju which he shouldn't ask him.
"Strange?" surprised the guy.
"I mean that guy who was a little chubby and who used to wear glasses on his eyes. He was new, right?" Dae Ju tried to cover.
"Ah! Yes, you got it! By the way, do you know him?" asked the old man.
"Yes, we used to work together. But we were not that close!" Dae Ju smiled but it wasn't real.
"Really? But he said that you were close with him! Why he said that?" the man was trying to get something from Dae Ju but Dae Ju couldn't understand and he was spelling everything out.
"What?" Dae Ju is shocked because he thinks that he couldn't get the full memory of this guy(Rumi). And if the man is true then he could be in serious danger.
"Yes, he said me a while ago that you were close with him but you are pretending not to know him nowadays. Why you are doing this?" the old man was smiling but it was hardly seen. As Dae Ju was looking down he couldn't see his face and that weird smile.
"Ah.... We had some serious issues and that's why.....But do you know why he left the company? Dae Ju was trying to change the topic.
"Ah! But, why you have to visit the police station today?" asked the old guy with a suspicious eye.
"What!" Dae Ju felt like he misheard so he asked what did he just ask because he shouldn't ask this type of question.
"I said, why you go to the police? Is there something wrong?" Mr. director was curious and he asked Dae Ju with a low voice.
"Ah! No! Nothing happened that much. I was just being called by them." saying this far he realized that he shouldn't say that so he hurried and said again,
"But, don't think I did something wrong. I didn't do anything. I was just called for my friend who is lost and they took the case to find him." Dae Ju thought that he could able to fool the guy but he couldn't. As a director he has to keep his eyes wide opened and stay aware of every sound around him. He has a good smell power as a dog(Not like he could smell everything perfectly, he just could guess what is going around him and who is telling him a lie and who is hiding something from him and who is trustworthy).
"Ah! Such bad news! Hope you will find him soon! Now, go back to your work." he tried to console Dae Ju falsely and pat on his shoulder.
"Ah! Thank you, sir!" being very polite Dae Ju walked to his office but he couldn't even realize that someone is glaring at him from his back and that glare is not good for him. He walked on the big corridor and went to his office room. He was gentle towards his boss but when he came far from him, he cursed him in his mind.
"F***r! Why he came those days when I am late? He never comes to check when I come to work early!" said Dae Ju in his mind and came to his table.
"What did he say?" asked a colleague who sits next to Dae Ju.
"Don't remind me. He called me just to threatened! Nothing else!" Dae Ju sighed and look at that man who was going to concentrate on his work again. By looking at him, Dae Ju remembered that he was the person who told the director that he is late today. So, he shouted at him in his own way,
"Hey! Don't you think it's unfair! He didn't know that I was late! You are the one who let him know! Why you did that? Ah! Gosh!"
"Because Director liked you too much and he is jealous about it. Isn't it Mr. Chan?" the girl staff said and walk to Dae Ju but his hunter eyes were looking at the colleague who complained to the director. She puts a smile on her face this time too but it wasn't her usual smile. She was pretending as she got him and she is gonna save that man whom she likes.
"Really? (looking at the girl then he turned his face to the male colleague) Hey! How could you do that to me? What did I wrong to you! Ah! I trusted you! But seems like I can't trust you anymore! Ah! Such an unfair world!" said Dae Ju loudly but the other guy who was sitting next to him, turned pale as if he is going to be killed. He was looking down and stay quiet.
"Don't worry! Mr. Director trusts you. He will not fire you that easily." the girl came a little closer to him. Dae Ju couldn't get what the girl wants from him. He sits on his chair and thanked the girl. The girl has a glass of coffee in her hand and she came to Dae Ju's table and nearly sit on the table. The white skin of her thighs was clearly seen and she folds one up to another to look sexy. Dae Ju felt awkward because she was too close to him and her thighs were just beside his chest and those were nearly touched his body.
When Dae Ju left the Director took his phone and called someone.
"You were right. He is cooperating with the police. You should be careful. He couldn't remember your hiding place yet but I think he will remember soon. So, get out from that place and find a new place to hide." said the guy to someone who was on the other side.
