When the truth doesn't hold up
Kavielle POV
My eyes were heavy, as I forced them open, feeling a touch on my arm. Looking up, the room was well lit, a figure standing above me, "Drew?" I called out, hoping it was him. What happened last night? Was I dreaming?
"No," I polite voice called back, "he's in the hall though, would you like me to get him for you? He's been waiting for you to wake."
I tried to shake off this exhaustion, and nod, finally able to murmur, "yes, please."
The touch dissipated and she walked out. I blinked hard, each blink seeming like an eternity passed. The light of the room changing slightly; maybe a window? Was there a tree blowing in the wind? I watch, smelling fresh air circle around me. I attempted to move my arms, but they were strapped in tightly, not able to move an inch.
