Second day home from the hospital came with a new surprise. After eating for the second time, Arthur completed the the daily quest and got the first level up.

"Hmm, I got a free Health point and a random status point to assign anywhere I please" Thought Arthur as he went through his stats again. "I wonder if I allocate to strength if I'll be able to have more control over my body. Well, can't hurt to try"
"System, allocate free stat point to strength stat" thought Arthur since he was technically not able to speak.
[Allocating stat point to Strength]
Once the change had been made Arthur felt twice as strong. He went to try and roll over and sure enough, his body obeyed that simple command. He could also hold his head up but short of rolling around, that's as far as he could get.
"A huge improvement if you ask me" thought Arthur in the midst of rolling from his stomach to his back.
"Honey! come quick!" Yelled Arthurs' mother as she hurriedly came over to the crib Arthur was laying in. Arthurs' dad ran in and saw the acrobatics Arthur had on display and could not keep his excitement contained.
"They grow up so fast, don't they?" his dad asked his mom.
"No, I mean yes, but also no. Arthur shouldn't be able to do this for at least a couple of months. He was only born yesterday" replied his mother.
"It must be the system" said his dad. "I know they said probably not higher than a basic A rank system but this is crazy. Imagine what he's going to be like when he's older. He may even qualify to pilot the mechas in the Imperial Army!" yelled his dad enthusiastically. "Our son, a mecha pilot"
"Let's not get ahead of ourselves dear" replied his mom. "We still need make sure he makes it to the academy after all. High ranked system or not, we've got to keep him out of trouble"
"You're right of course. But I want so bad for him to have what I could not. You know that was my dream until I washed out of the pilot corps. I wasn't fast enough, strong enough. They transferred me to the 3rd Mechanized support battalion where I fixed damaged mechas all day until my obligation was over. It was safe, but I want better for our son. We will teach him everything we can to prepare him for the Academy." Said his father
"We've got plenty of time dear" replied his mother. "He's only 2 days old. He will probably progress a lot faster than normal people with a generic system if today is any indication. All we can do is keep him safe until we can start his training."
"A mecha pilot?" thought Arthur. "Hell yes that's what I want to do. by the time I get ready to join the academy there's no telling what my stats will be like. I should be able to influence them by training...well, when I'm able to get full control over my body. Until then all there is to do is wait and drink milk. I should be able to hit level 3 in twenty days by just drinking milk if I mathed that right"
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The days went by quickly and Arthur improved steadily day after day. He found that by just rolling around and trying to finetune his motor skills he was finally able to influence his stats. On one such occasion, he was rolling to his stomach attempting to get in a crawl position, the system notified him his strength stat had increased by 1. Another day he was doing something similar and the system notified him that his stamina stat had increased by 1.
"So, the system rewards me for being mobile and essentially training...if you could call this nonsense training. I'm dying being stuck in this body I can barely control but I know the wait will be worth it" thought Arthur.
When Arthur turned 22 days old he finally sat up. It was an amazing feeling. He could also say basic things like "mommy" and "daddy" and of course "food". Arthur had decided to keep the speech to a minimum to not arouse any other suspicions about his mental acumen. Arthur continued to practice sitting up and rolling over and gained another point in strength and Stamina before he hit level 3 twenty days later.

"Yes!" thought Arthur as he laid there in his mom's embrace. He was eager to get to level 10 as that's usually a milestone in the old games. He was hoping to pick up some kind of skill. Although he had no idea what it could potentially be.
