Me and Lyla just returned home after dealing with all the issues, not only the crime inside the city but to the new situation which some people haven't still recover from the snap.
This situation creates victims from abused and new crimes happening as the Defenders reduce a number. Daredevil and the others are also included to the blip while Jessica remains.
About a week ago, they received a message from Jessica her job multiplied ever since the snap happened.
" Jessica inform me that there is a small amount of people suddenly goes missing." Lyla spoke to me as we step out of the elevator.
" Missing?" I raised my eyebrow as I'm quite perplexed about missing people being her main purpose of informing us " Isn't it the most normal in the times like now?"
Lyla flashed me the messages, " It is not only some people missing, but a bunch. Specially women of young age."
I ask as I already have some guesses why Jessica told us the information " Women. Is it another human trafficking? But isn't our area have been cleaned up long ago, where is this occurring?"
" In multiple places. But you're right, our area have been cleaned but doesn't mean there isn't an arrogant people taking advantage of the harmony of this place and also ignorant group who didn't know what had happened here. " The door opened directly as we walk inside.
" What do you suggest? Should we clean the place first or we hurry to assist Jessica ? " I asked as we laid down the groceries and a door opened as Krista walk excitedly with another box full of vials.
" Cain. Cain, I have made another batch of this vials, but what should we name it? I still can't decide and also, should we really start our own company? " Krista jumped towards me as she talked about the topic of her prize vials.
Lyla held her excitement down before saying to me " We can take it slow, Jessica also said that she is still following a lead and will ask us for help instead of diving alone."
" That's a good reason. " I turned away from the groceries as I responded to Krista, " Missus, I thought you have already decided a name for it? "
Krista put down the box and helped me unpacked the groceries while Lyla put on her apron and started preparing to cook.
" Yeah, but I planned to name it accordingly to our own company." She seemed adamant on changes so I just let her and she ask again another topic " Is Mr Stark and Ms Pepper really just plan support us instead of running the company?"
I touched my chin as I responded " The both of them are really managing their own company and they won't have time becoming a chairman of another pharmaceutical business that have potential to become at the top."
" And they must have also wanted to let us have our own name branded in the light and not just hiding in the dark."
Lyla look up to me as she also said " That's just seem like what those couple will say to us, we already spent many years fighting for the world and even almost dying with our name still unknown and have been hiding our faces since."
Krista also chimed in " You mean, Mr Stark and Ms Pepper are very considerate to us in building our own company from the ground up? "
" I mean sure, they are going to support us but don't you two have responsibilities to help the Avengers. Building a company from the scratch will be difficult since none of us have had any experiences."
I thought about it but still. " I already discussed this with Mr Stark but he refused making this part of his department and said that this should be the time for us to focus on ourselves. "
" Focus on ourselves? " Lyla look at the two of us and she spoke " He must have thought that we're going to create our own family and instead of looting and taking items and money from others, we should just create a company and let the money flow to us. These vials will provide us unimaginable amounts of money if treated with care."
We nodded at Lyla's statements as I said " Since we're going to build it from a scratch, we are going to need many things. I should have a discussion to the Stark couple about technologies and support needed. Lyla, you get our storages ready, we will invest all of it to the business."
Krista spoke to the air " Keeper, you make a list of these things and make sure contact FRIDAY for assistance, I'm sure Mr Stark will learn about it and give his own advice."
We three have our precious time spent on cooking together in the kitchen as we feast on our dishes after we are done with cooking. The dishes are mainly cooked by Lyla and Krista and I on the other side just supported them both.
We had a great time during the night as we still misses Aunt Helen but since I've already told them both what might happen in the future to reassure them and myself, We just need to wait for the right time.
I've asked Mr Stark alone about anything Dr Strange said before they fight Thanos and even though he seems surprised a little that I might know something but I reasoned that I was aware of the time gem's ability as I saw it first hand during Hong Kong tragedy.
I call it tragedy because many of the people there who fought and defend the place died but came back to life after the time stone was casted by Dr Strange. Moreover, I even suspect Dr Strange dying countless times for hundreds of years just to annoy Dormammu and bargained with him.
Mr Stark isn't so sure If telling me something about what Dr Strange said might change the future like Dr Strange said to him but he stilled himself before telling me " Strange used the time gem to look for alternative future similar to what Thanos said and he mentioned watching 14, 999,000 times …. He said we won in only …two different ways."
" Shouldn't we inform the others about this? I mean, they are also aware that Thanos used the time stone to peak at alternate future possibilities. " I asked Mr Stark even though I already guessed his answer.
" If it is mentioned or said anything about it. He tell me that it won't happen the way it is supposed to be like he saw." Mr Stark is also burdened by this secret and promise not the tell anybody but still told me after I reassured him several times.
" Soon, we will be on Endgame." He said before turning away.
