Chapter 6 - 006. Flower Field

Part of the earth with four seasons, has spring, summer, autumn, and winter.

Spring occurs between March, April, and May. In this season, the weather tends to be warm but it often rains.

Summer occurs around June, July, and August. In this season the weather tends to be warm and often very hot.

Autumn is in September, October, and November. In this season the days are noticeably shorter, the colder, and the leaves fall from the trees.

Winter is in December, January, and February. In this season the days are colder and it often snows.

It is called La Battaglia dei Fiori or the Battle of Flowers which is always held every two years in the spring in the city of Franstomohon—the city where Javier now lives and tries his luck.

This festival is a series of spring celebrations where the people of Franstomobelle—as the people of Franstomohon, compete to make the most luxurious flower decorations during the parade.

They would decorate the vehicle, most of which came from flowers, most of which came from the village of Karaskas—where Jacob and his mother lived.

In spring, the meadows in the village of Karaskas seem to be transformed into a beautiful stretch of bright yellow.

The golden yellow canola flowers are the center of attraction for Karaskas, making this usually quiet area bustling with tourists who want to witness the beautiful blooms of canola flowers for themselves. This scene is much sought after for photo objects by photographers.

The best time to visit the blooming canola flowers in Karaskas is from February to March.

Franstomohon is famous for selling daisies and canola oil, but production is very slow, compared to the demand for these two types of flowers. Because only a few farmers from the village of Karakas cultivate these two types of flowers and then send them to Franstomohon.

For this reason, the Mandel Hills estate began to cultivate daisies and canolas, in addition to roses and other types of flowers.

It is hoped that this year they can supply more demand for daisy and canola flowers, as well as participate in a flower festival in the city of Franstomohon.

So not surprisingly, Jacob was so angry, the flower plants he had just cultivated were plucked without his permission.

"Hey, stupid girl! What are you doing with my flowers?!"

Someone who was called a stupid, ignored Jacob's sharp words. As if not hearing what the tall man said.

Feeling that his words were being ignored, Jacob got off his horse, and with wide strides approached the girl he called stupid.

His hand violently gripped the girl's arm, preventing her hand from picking her flowers again. Until, some of the flowers that the girl had collected in her hands, fell scattered to the ground.

The girl looked surprised.

A single white rose, escaped from her hand, rose into the air, and hit her face and arms.

The thorns on the rose stem accidentally scratched her smooth cheeks and arms, before finally the white rose fell to the ground.

One stroke was enough to make fresh blood ooze out of the girl's cheeks and arms. Making Jacob loosen his grip on his hand because he didn't think he had hurt the stupid flower thief girl.

Instantly, the awkwardness between them filled the atmosphere in the field full of blooming flowers. It was as if time had stopped and Jacob had a sense of de ja vu. The girl in front of him, as if he had seen it, but nowhere.

Stupid girl the flower thief.

Her hair was curly and jet black, her skin in the morning light seemed to glow, she looked bright white, her eyes were wide with hazel color. Blinking occasionally. She looked at the man who was still clutching his hand blankly.

The girl waited. As if challenging Jacob to launch an attack from his mouth a second time. Completely unaware that her cheeks and arms were injured.

Jacob cleared his throat, to break the silence. Suddenly feeling awkward. Just let go of his grip, and scratched the nape of the neck that didn't itch.

Thinking that Jacob was no longer threatening her, the girl picked up the fallen flowers one by one. Arrange it neatly in both hands. Jacob was suddenly at a loss for words.

This girl, is it literally stupid? Don't understand that the man in front of her is angry? In fact, Jacob's words were simply ignored like the wind.

"Hey, do you know who the flowers you've picked belong to?" Jacob tried to get the girl to respond.

Deeply suppressed the anger in his chest.

The girl stopped her action from tidying the beautiful yellow white flowers. Stunned by Jacob's question. At least that's what Jacob had in mind.

What happened next, however, made Jacob widen his eyes, shake his head, and even sigh roughly.

Pulling his own hair.

Harden his jaw.

And than growl.

How come, he is not acting like that?

The girl in front of him, after a silent act of silence, instead of responding to Jacob's question, she sniffed the scent of the flowers she had arranged in her hands, one by one.

Inhaling every fragrance that is inhaled by the sense of smell. Really enjoy it with the eyes closed. Then the girl smiled. A beautiful smile.

However, it was not enough to captivate Jacob, who by that time was at the peak of anger. Anything that looked beautiful in other people's eyes, when Jacob was in a rage, it didn't look beautiful.

'Is this stupid girl, crazy?' Jacob thought.

Jacob watched the girl in front of him carefully, from head to toe. Evaluate.

However, Jacob did not find the oddity. Or something unusual about the girl. All seemed normal.

The clothes the girl was wearing didn't look strange either. Knee-length dress in pale yellow. Sleeves, three-quarters of the length. The clothes that girls usually wear in Karaskas.

However, her jet black hair clearly indicated that the flower thief girl was not from Karaskas. Maybe an immigrant. He don't know where. Jacob had no idea where the girl was from.
