Chapter 55 - Death

"Master, have you eaten?"

The girl looked like Rose asked him as she carried a food basket in her hands, hoping he would answer 'no'.

But Argider simply said he had lunch, making the girl stand in front of his door, with a sulking face.

'Argider! Can't you be a little more gentle to your students?!'

Thomas screamed from inside, still in pain, but feeling sad seeing her face.

"I brought this for you. You can have them when you feel like it."

The girl didn't try to say anything else. She put down the basket in front of him, then walked away as if she knew him well. Argider pondered for a little, then he picked it up after sighing.

As he came in, he closed the door, placed the basket on the table, laid on his bed with his eyes closed.

Then Thomas heard his faint voice mumbling something.

"It hurts..."

Thomas didn't know if he meant the physical pain or that stabbing pain in his heart. But Thomas knew Argider was not feeling very well.

"Master...Open the door."
