"This-?"
The next day, Argider picked some pastries and brought them to that little girl. It seemed like they had been eating meat from those creatures they could find. Argider thought she might enjoy the taste of some freshly baked pastries.
She loved it.
Argider watched her taking the bite and beaming happily as it was her first time tasting something so delicious and different from meat.
"Thank you for coming back."
Argider heard Aiden mumbling from the side. Argider walked to him and shoved another parcel in his hands, but not looking at him.
"It's for you."
He said and sat down in a chair next to him. He had never been kind to anyone, so it was kind of weird for him to hand over a food parcel to them personally let alone just give them the basket.
He was embarrassed but felt so satisfied seeing how happy the little girl was.
He made someone happy.
"Thank you."
Aiden sat there watching Argider for a while then looking at his sister again.
