In a small pub, men could be seen drinking till they were drunk as some ladies served drinks and others were enjoying their time with their friends.
"Have you heard the rumours of the crying flame?" A drunken old man babbled as he stared at the youths in adventure clothing drinking happily.
"What's that, never heard it?" A middle aged woman denied it.
"Damn my bro, you're really old. Not even knowing the hottest news. So I'll just tell ya all," the drunken man called Jasper jumped onto the stage as he sat down and sipped his wine.
"This flame is known to be unquenchable and has devoured 40 cities over the past 5 years. The nations were able to drive it off but their casualties were high," Jasper said with a serious face.
"That's horrible man," a young man shook his head before gulping down some beer.
"Indeed. It cannot be purified, nor can it be killed," Jasper continued, "They say only a few have survived and lived to tell a tale."
"So wait what does it look like?" A young teenage girl in a witch outfit asked with excitement in her eyes.
"Well, the first thing you should know is that it looks like a child. Once you hear unusual cries of someone calling their mother you should run if not as soon as it reaches you, you can never escape its grasp," Jasper cautioned before gulping down more wine.
"Old fool, stop scaring the younger generation," a middle-aged man laughed, treating Jasper's words as a joke.
"Ya think my words are lies huh? We are even on the continent where the crying flame was born," Jasper said with a grumpy face.
"If I were you, any unusual cries of someone calling their mother you'll run as far as you can," the drunk Jasper huffed as he got off the stage and sat to eat.
"I heard all the nobles have left for an important event in another country," a youth laughed pleasantly about what he was saying.
"What did you say, my boy?" Jasper asked, shocked by the sudden revelation.
"Yeah, all those bastards have left so now the city is free of rules. Not even their subordinates are here," the youth chuckled.
"This is bad," Jasper muttered as he started to pack his bags.
"Everyone, we must leave now!!" Jasper yelled with fear in his eyes.
"Why?" They asked Jasper strangely.
"You fools. Which nobles in their right mind would leave their homes without guards to watch it.?" Jasper yelled as he slammed his hand on the table.
"This….." the youth had no words to say as he started to think critically.
"All of ya, if you want to live to see another day I advise you run away now. The crying flame is heading this way!!" Jasper warned before leaving the bar.
"Come on old man, your joke is going too far," the middle aged man laughed.
However, his laughing face changed when the alarm bells rang and someone screamed, "Forest fire!!"
The old man started to sprint towards the other end of the city without looking back.
The young men who were mocking the old man looked at the scene before them at the gate of the city and shuddered in fear.
Before them was a sea of flames consuming everything in its path. Several faces could be seen in the fire and their faces distorted like they were in pain.
"Where's mummy? Mama," a cry of a young girl could be heard as the young men trembled.
"Everyone should evacuate the city now, there's no way to stop this demon!!" A man on the sentry tower yelled as the young adventurers were evacuating people.
"Isn't it just fire? We can ask the water and ice mages to quench it," a youth suggested out of nervousness.
"You fool didn't you hear the old man!! The flame can't be quenched by anything," the young girl in a witch outfit retorted before getting on her staff and flying away.
"Everyone ran away!!" a person shrieked as they dashed out of the city.
The people dashed out of the city in panic and some remained. Those who remained were the stubborn ones who believed that the others were fooling them, but they soon came to regret that thought as their body was burnt to ashes by the flame.
Once the flame was done engulfing the city it stopped as the wails of a girl could be heard from afar.
Amidst all the chaos a huge black shadow covered the entire sky and landed with a third on the ground. It opened its wide jaws and released a flame that stopped the Chaos flame and all that was left was Leila.
Leila stare at the being in shock not knowing what it was. The being had a long neck with 6 scaly golden wings on its back. It had 4 huge majestic golden horns on its head and its big feet caused the ground to tremble with every step. There was no fierceness in its golden eyes, but rather a warm look. The dragon was over 40 metres tall.
"I've finally found you," the golden dragon boomed as it began to shrink till all that was left was the figure of a woman in a suit. She had beautiful brown skin with long golden hair and golden eyes. And her figure was well proportioned.
"This…." A black huge goat over 4 metres tall with wings asked as it stared at Leila.
"What is it Genueva?" He asked as he looked at Genueva.
"It's a child, the one we were looking for," Genueva answered.
"This monster?" The goat doubted as it looked at the child covered in flames.
"Mama, mama," Leila cried as she reached out her hands and the Chaotic flame grew once more.
"She just wants her mother," Genueva muttered as she looked at Leila pitifully.
'I wonder what she witnessed to turn her like this,' Genueva wondered.
Genueva then walked towards Leila who was crying. Unlike most people who would burn to a crisp once they were touched by the flame, it could barely scratch Genueva.
Once Genueva reached Leila she embraced the child into her arms as Leila stopped crying.
"It is alright their child, I'll be your new mother. So don't cry anymore okay. You're hurting others and yourself," Genueva consoled Leila as she caressed Leila's flame hair.
Hearing Genueva's words Leila finally came to her senses as she stared at the woman before her.
"Thank you," Leila thanked before she passed out in the woman's arms.
"Genueva are you okay," the fair man appeared with black hair and a chiseled body as he dashed towards Genueva. He used to be the goat man.
"Yes I'm fine, I'm more worried about this child. I sense deep hatred emitting from her soul. What's more, look at how skinny she is. She needs to eat more and grow healthy and strong," Genueva complained.
"Stop whining like a mother," Huns grunted.
"Isn't it good to care for others?" Genueva retorted.
"Wait Genueva, she's human?" Huns questioned unsure if the girl before him was a human or demon.
"She's not," Genueva denied.
"How? she definitely feels like a human," Huns stated confused about how this girl looked anything like a demon would.
"But she isn't, you'll know once she wakes up," Genueva smiled as she held Leila in her arms not noticing the transformation going within her body.

'I feel pain, all over my body,' Leila thought as she suddenly gained consciousness.
'I wonder what that voice in my head was.'
"Wow she's waking up!!" Beamed Amilia as her face was right on top of Leila.
"Who are you?" Leila asked as she saw the strange lady with six eyes looking at her. She had short brown hair and fair skin.
"Nice to meet you Leila as Amelia, nice to meet you," Amilia smiled.
'Did she just say nice to meet you twice?' Leila wondered as she stared as the strange woman before getting up.
"You've currently been asleep for a month, I'm shocked that you haven't died from hunger after not eating for 5 years. Maybe the people who died in the flame nourished you, but we can never really tell," Amelia shrugged as she was mixing some potions in another table causing Leila to notice her eight spider legs. But that didn't scare Leila.
"Where am I?" Leila asked as she realised she was in a room filled with tubes and magic circles floating around. And she laid on a stone bed in the middle of the room.
"Well you're currently in the castle of the great demon Queen. Don't tell anyone it's a secret okay," Amelia yelled happily.
"Okay," Leila said although she was confused about what a demon Queen was.
"Well then come, come," Amelia directed Leila out of the room as the walked down the halls of the castle which was booming with all sort of races as everyone was happy. They walked till the reached a room filled with food on the table.
"Here you go eat to your fill kiddo," Amelia smiled as Leila.
Sensing no malice from Amila Leila started to eat hurriedly since she felt extremely hungry.
"Woah, wow calm down the food isn't going to run away," Amelia chuckled as she watched Leila stuff her cheeks with food and gulped it down with some fruit juice.
"Once you're done eating we're going to meet the demon Queen," Amelia stated.
After an hour Leila had eaten all the delicacies on the table and burned in satisfaction causing Amelia to laugh.
They then walked out of the dining room into the halls towards the throne room an Genueva.
"Is she human?" A lady with bwt wings on her back asked as she stared at Leila with a frown.
"What is a human doing here?" A male Harpy asked as he also stared at the human following the Alchemist Amelia.
"No she's not, look at her eyes, Humans don't have shiny eyes like gems," a lady with snakes on her head pointed out.
"No one has good vision like you Pika," another man retorted and Pika snorted at him and so did the little snakes.
Leila and Amelia finally reached a huge door which automatically opened and revealed a lady sitting on a golden throne and line up before were 7 demons who frowned upon Leila's arrival.
"Welcome Leila," Amelia smiled as she walked towards Leila.
"How beautiful," Leila mumbled as she stared at Genueva before her.
"It good to finally see you're well," Genueva said as she caressed Leila's crimson hair.
"Could you tell me your name child?" Genueva asked.
"Leila."
"Such warmth like mama," Leila muttered as she looked at Genueva.
"Hahahaha, come on, Genueva is too old to be a mother," Amelia laughed as she stumped her legs.
"What do you mean like that? Who says age determines if you can be a parent," Genueva retorted as she puffed her cheeks.
"Well you act more like a grandma than a mum," Amelia chuckled causing Genueva's face to turn red.
"You hateful girl, I won't weave that sweater for you anymore," Genueva yelled as she hugged Leila and truned away from Amelia.
"I'm sorry Genueva you know I was just joking," Amelia begged with pleading eyes.
'Like seriously why would I give up a sweater that is resistant to the cold. My skin is too sensitive,' Amelia thought as she apologized to Genueva.
"Well Leila dear, I'm sure that you're aware that your real mother is dead," Amelia stated getting straight to the point.
"Yes, I am," Leila answered with a saddened face.
"How long was I alseep for?" Leila sked as she looked at Amelia.
"You weren't aware that you were a flame for five years?!" A woman who had fair skin with butterfly ears and wings looked at Leila in shock and her blond hair semed to float.
"Five year? Burning? All I know was that I felt something inside me errupt then I passed out," Leila stated as the other demons in the room could tell with such pure eyes she wasn't lying.
"Well you were turned into a flame that terorrized cities and nations and you claimed the lives of so many innocent people. Hearing about you I had to stop you if not you could have also burnt down the cities of my people," Genueva explained to Leila hoping that she knew. However, she shuddered when she saw that there was no remorse in Leila's eyes.
"Those people deserved to die. They burnt my mother. She was innocent," Leila stated with cold eyes as she gritted her teeth.
The other demons in the room shivered as they felt the murderous intent and hatred emitting from Leila.
