Alyssa lowered her head playing with the hem of her yellow dress. Quinn had presented it to her last night and it fitted her tiny body perfectly. She was not the type with a hour glass shape but she wasn't the flat type.
She was very shy and prayed the floor to open up and swallow her. All eyes were on Quinn and his entourage. To make matters worse, the Mr. Davidson came to greet Quinn and led the way to her hostel.
When they got to her hostel, Quinn Winters shot Mr. Davidson a glance.
Mr. Davidson wiped the invisible beads sweat on his forehead.
" Since you came a bit late, the rooms were already occupied so....I'm afraid that..."
Alyssa gulped and stared at Quinn. He seemed unbothered by the fact she won't be staying in the dorm. She pulled a long face and Quinn noticed it.
He moved to pat her hair but she dodged and lowered her head with a pout. He moved close to her and placed his hands on her shoulder sending a glare in Mr. Davidson's direction. Alyssa smiled shyly feeling the warmth of his palm even though she was clothed.
He noticed his mistake and quickly continued his speech.
" Because of that, you are going to live alone in this apartment " He offered her a wide smile and opened the door to let her in. Quinn held Alyssa's hand and led her in.
It was greatly furnished and designed in a girly way. She turned her gaze to Quinn and moved close to him.
" Is this okay? What will other students say..."
Quinn massaged his forehead and stared at her. She moved backward and bit her lower lip thinking he must be mad she had passed her boundaries.
" I'm sorry" She said in a very low voice.
" As you can see, it has enough space for you to live in, it has a wide bedroom, a nice kitchen for you to cook and also your personal lav...."
Mr. Davidson rambled on and on describing every tiny details of her new house.
By the time he was done, the bodyguards had already set her belongings where they should be placed.
Quinn excused Mr. Davidson and his guards then settled himself on the sofa.
" Are you going you keep standing there?"
Alyssa quickly shook her head and moved to sit away from him. Quinn took hold of her hand and pulled her to sit on his laps. She was taken aback and quickly tried to stand up but her waist was held in place by Quinn. Her heart began pounding fast as she slowly turned to look at him.
" I...I...." She scratched her head unable to form a sentence.
Quinn removed his hands from her waist and sat back staring at her.
* Is he angry?*
*Does he mean I should get up*
*If I get up now, I probably won't be able to touch him again. Once he leaves, he might forget about me and continue his relationship with Miss Tina. I should let him do what he wants.*
She pursed her lips and stared at his lips. " You..." Her shoulders dropped and she pouted.
Quinn smiled and pulled her into a hug. " What are you thinking about?"
She shyly smiled and hugged him back. " Nothing. Thank you very much for everything. I like this apartment and the school and..."
*And I also like you*
Quinn tilted his head. " And what?"
He pulled away from her and stared at her beautiful face. He caressed her freckles with his thumb. " You're my wife. You don't have to be thankful okay?"
She slowly released her hand from his back and forced a smile at him.
* Alyssa please think! He is only doing all of this because you are now his wife "
She gulped and furrowed her brows. " That's why I'm thankful. If I was never married to you, you wouldn't have done so much for me"
Quinn kissed her hair and then her forehead. " Get some rest. College isn't easy" He made for the door without looking back at her.
Alyssa sat there looking stupefied till she heard the soft sound of the door that indicated he was gone.
Her hands moved to her neck and she closed her eyes feeling the texture of the Winters heirloom against her neck. " Quinn..." She whispered with a smile.

" Surprise!!!"
Quinn raised his head and stared at the door. He flashed Tina a smile and walked towards her.
" What're you doing here?" He asked pulling her into a quick hug.
She rolled her eyes and walked inside the office swaying her hips. " I don't think I need a reason before I visit my boyfriend right "
" I know you must be very busy with work and as usual living off supplement so I brought you lunch."
Quinn smiled and walked towards her. She was always concerned about his health and took note of every little thing about him.
" I will be acting my first TV show so I might not be able to spend time with you like before but don't worry. I have a plan. I think it will be better if Alyssa helps you deliver lunch in case you forget to eat. I'm sure she wouldn't mind."
Quinn stopped eating and shook his head. " That won't be possible. She's already at college"
" Oops! I have forgotten she is still a teenager. It must be really hard for her to be a wife at such a young age. Also.....it's at this stage that most girls begin to have a crush on one guy or another. I think it's not a wide decision for her to be exposed so soon. " She said in a worried tone and stared at Quinn.
" Since it's actually a fake marriage, she can fall in love with whoever she wants but the outcome won't be good if a paparazzi captures her. It can tarnish the image of the Winters'"
Quinn's heart shook. He surely won't be able to stand it if she eventually falls in love with another person. As stated in the contract, she is not to fall in love with him or anyone throughout their marriage. He cleared his throat and said thoughtfully.
" I trust her. She knows the penalty of going against the Winters' so she wouldn't dare to do so."
Tina leaned closer " You really don't know about we girls. Have you forgotten I started dating when you I was eighteen and you refused to get married to the girl you were betrothed to not knowing I was the same girl" Tina laughed seeing Quinn's expression.
He moved to hug her tightly and rested his forehead on the nook of her neck. " I miss those days..."
" Yeah...I also missed being the naïve girl. So much has happened that it's impossible to be as ignorant as before"
Quinn stared at her meaningfully and kissed her lips.
" Stop it! You will ruin my make-up " She whined pulling him closer.
" Why not? That's my job" He whispered seductively and carried her into his lounge.
" Quinn..." She clung onto him with a sweet smile on her lips.
Tina smiled staring at Quinn's serene face. She missed all of the moment they spent together. She couldn't be more satisfied now that Alyssa was already at college.
Ding!
[ Sister in-law, let's go for shopping today. It happens I'm bored. Meet you at XXX store :-) ]
Tina smiled and sent her a reply. She had all of the Winters family by her side. There was no need to fret since Quinn will always be there for her.
Quinn got back to work but he was unable to concentrate. He had just betrayed Alyssa and was torn because legally, he was married to Alyssa but Tina was still his girlfriend.
Going to work on Sundays wasn't his thing but he had come to make some arrangements not knowing something else was going to happen.
He reclined on his chair and closed his eyes thinking about Alyssa's innocent smile.
His mind went back to Tina's statement. He really would be unable to stand it if Alyssa began falling in love with another guy.
