Alyssa took a seat in a quiet corner and laid her bag on the table so no one could see her. Even so, she could hear the boys' whistling and snickering from a distance.
She suddenly became aware of many legs approaching her. She glanced up to see who it was...
Alyssa shivered nervously as Natalie smirked.
She cast a peek over to the three girls alongside her, who quickly squished Alyssa into the centre of their group.
Natalie took Alyssa's hand in hers and drew her closer. She pretended to be terrified as she stared at Alyssa's injuries, which had already stopped bleeding.
" " I have a band-aid on hand." Let's see how that goes. " Natalie smiled reassuringly at the terrified Alyssa.
She yanked her hand away from Natalie's grasp and lowered her gaze. " I'm OK. You don't have to be concerned."
Natalie's cheeks was flushed with rage. Her fingers dug into Alyssa's cheeks as she grasped her chin.
Alyssa's eyes began to water again as the rims of her eyelids became wet. Many of the students didn't bother to look in her direction as she looked through her eyelids.
A guy even had the audacity to wink at her, further aggravating her.
Natalie sighed, her expression betraying her dissatisfaction. She smirked and pointed her chin in Bianca's direction as she narrowed her eyes at Alyssa.
Bianca chewed her bottom lip and locked her gaze on Alyssa. She mumbled an apology and grabbed Alyssa's hand firmly.
When Alyssa noticed Bianca having a bandage, she furrowed her brow. Before she could say anything, Bianca used the bandage to cover her wound.
It took a bit for her to realize what had transpired. She let out a terrible howl, which Stacy immediately silenced by gagging her and preventing her from making any noise.
Alyssa was unable to maintain her composure. She started muttering and shaking her head. As she glanced at Natalie's tranquil expression, tears streamed down her face.
She was really enjoying the show and couldn't be more satisfied seeing her tears was flowing freely on Alyssa's face.

"I notice that applying salt to your injuries isn't a bad idea. You appear to be in a good mood right now, don't you? Bianca was concerned about your injury and advised that we put salt to the bandage to speed up the healing process." Natalie went away with a nod.
Stacy ripped the tape from Alyssa's mouth and ruffled her hair with force. She and her companion went away, leaving Alyssa and Bianca alone.

Wendy continued to sing enthusiastically, occasionally whistling and free styling. She continued dancing after removing her hand from the staring.
She observed a person crossing the road, but her vehicle was already too near. It was too late for her to regain control of the vehicle and veer to the right.
" Oh, Jesus, sweet baby! This is not going to happen again." With her eyes enlarged, she said. As Quinn's warning resonated in her ears, her hands had already turned clammy.
"If you ever strike someone with your car again, I will prevent you from riding even a bicycle, and I will seize all of your credit cards."
She had hit a young student at the time, and Finn, her quiet cousin, had to intervene to treat the young boy given how serious it was.
Wendy searched her brain, unsure if she should ignore the collision and drive away as if nothing had occurred, or whether she should check on the person.
"Damn!" exclaimed Wendy. She slid out of the car, unbuckling her seatbelt.
She examined his body and discovered that there were no apparent injuries or signs of blood. She exhaled a sigh of relief.
"How are you doing? "Do you require my assistance in getting you to the hospital?" She inquired, her gaze fixed on the man's. She felt a sense of satisfaction within her that he was attractive. When she takes him to the hospital, he's not quite her type, but not enough to make her pals laugh at her.
" I'm fine. " Mason managed to get up and dusted his trousers before staring at her.
Wendy nodded and stared at him haughtily. " It's good that you are fine. She opened her purse and stuffed a wad of cash to his hand.
" Take the money as a compensation fee. I don't want you rattling out to others just because of a slight fall. "
Mason frowned his face and stared at the money he had just received from her.
" Not everyone is money minded. And not everything can be solved with money. Take your money back. I don't need it"
He felt she looked familiar but couldn't place a finger on where he had seen her. Since she was putting on a sunshade, it made it even hard to recognize her.
He stuffed the money back in her hand and made to leave.
Wendy chuckled and stared at his back.
" So you are just one if them. I've seen lots of men use this type of trick on me pretending they do not like money or fame. I have always said it and I will tell you this now. "
Mason turned side way to look at her.
She removed her glasses and tucked her red hair behind her ear.
" I, Wendy Winters will never stoop so low to date a guy who is several steps below my class. Get that into your skull....you worthless fellow and stop pretending you didn't approach my car to gain my attention " She got into her car and zoomed off with a loud blaring song.
" Wendy Winters.... No wonder she looked so familiar. " Mason shook his head and walked away. He couldn't be bothered thinking about what has just happened.
His phone rang and he smiled seeing it was Alyssa.
" Hey Softy.... Miss me? I thought you were never going to contact me again"
" Mason....help me please..." Alyssa's tiredly hoarse voice sounded through the phone.
" What's wrong ? Where are you? Did that bastard do anything to you?"
" Not that. Natalie....I....don't know... I will call you back"
" Alyssa! Hello?What did you say? How should I help you?" He didn't get any response from Alyssa. He paced up and down then finally decided to call the hospital.
While dialing the number, he was silently praying everything should be okay with Alexia.
" Oh....it's your big friend " The nurse entered Alexia ward and passed the phone to Alexia who was lost in thoughts
" Mason! I miss you so much....When will you visit me? Both you and Ally have deserted me. Is it because I'm troublesome? " She sulked feeling very sad and lonely.
" I also miss you. Where's Alyssa? Isn't she there with you?"
" Ah? Didn't she inform you? She is now a college student and hasn't visited me since last two weeks and I..."
Beep! Beep!!
Mason hurriedly hung up feeling unsettled. He tried Alyssa's number after the fifth ring, she finally picked the call.
" Are you okay? I just heard from Alex that you're already in college. Everything okay with you?"
" Alyssa is not here. I'm Bianca, her friend. She went to get something and left her bag with me"
" Alright. Tell her to give me a call when she returns. Thanks "
* At night.
Alyssa finished disinfecting dressing her wound. Her eyes was already puffy and swollen from sobbing all day. She covered her body with duvet and put off the light when her phone began ringing.
She checked the screen and almost puked. It displayed ' My hubby ' She smiled knowing Quinn must have saved it that way.
She cleared her throat to make it sound normal.
There was silence on the phone for a while like none of them dare to say anything.
" Mr. Winters?" Alyssa called out in a low voice breaking the silence.
" Hm? How was your first day at college? Did you enjoy it?"
" It was okay. Thanks " The atmosphere began stiff again and they kept quiet.
" I will pick you up tomorrow around noon. Get some rest" His seductive voice sounded making her smile.

Alyssa remembered something and quickly stood up to pick the dress she was going to wear the next day. Her phone rang and she quickly ran to her phone thinking it was Quinn.
" Mason! How're you doing? I wanted to call you back but I forgot. I hope you don't mind"
" It's no problem. You said something earlier but I was unable to hear you clearly. Everything alright? "
" Sure sure.... Eve...everything is ALRIGHT"
" Oh....that's a relief. I heard from Alexia that you're already a college student. "
Alyssa felt like her heart has been pricked by something very sharp. She wasn't the type to keep secrets from Mason.
" Well....I'm sorry I forgot. I promise to tell you everything in detail when next we meet "
Mason went silent for a while.
" How about tomorrow? Let's meet up. Will you be free?"
" No! " She hurriedly cut him short. She coughed a bit " I mean...I won't be free. I have to accompany Mr. Winters somewhere tomorrow.... Maybe next time" She said in a low voice feeling sorry for Mason.
