He smiled and shook his head. "It is not awkward at all," he tried to assure her as persuasive as he could.
"Oh, that's a relief then," she replied smiling awkwardly. She stared around to avoid his gaze. "It is a mansion," she murmured in sincere admiration.
He smiled as he noticed her get a lot more comfortable with him. He followed her gaze to the gold and glass chandelier hanging down from the high ceiling.
"It must be expensive," she commented thoughtfully her gaze stopping on the chandelier.
She came from a wealthy family and she has been to houses for parties but she could not remember a house as gigantic as this. This had to be the most expensive home she has seen in over fifty decades.
"Yes," he agreed as he also had the same testimony of the house. The house was gorgeous but not that, it was large that he considered it very unnecessary as the man was living alone with his son.
