"Yes, you could. Go ahead," YanJun paused for a few seconds before replying offhandedly.
"Last night, you said the fever was caused by a nightmare. I want to know what you meant by that so that I will make sure you don't go through that again," the man told him.
". . ." YanJun looked at the chess board thoughtfully before moving a pawn.
"What could have caused the nightmare?" Lu Mingyu asked as he tried to understand what the younger man was thinking but he was not making any progress with the blank look YanJun wore when he raised his head and met his gaze after a few minutes.
"I don't know what you mean by that," YanJun told him instead of the response he expected.
"You told me you had a nightmare that caused the fever you had months ago," Lu Mingyu reminded him.
"That was so long ago. How could I have remembered?" he asked the man with a slight furrow of his brow.
