He walked into the bathroom and splashed cold water on his face to wake him up and ease the headache he felt. When none of that worked, he walked into the shower cubicle and stood under the cold water.
When the water felt too cold, he switched it to warm water and waited under the shower for the pain to stop. When it did, he stood up and walked out of the shower.
