"It is good enough that you have friends, right?" he tried to make the boy see the good side of it all.
"Yes, I like my friends," the boy replied sincerely making him smile.
He stayed in Jason's room until Lu Mingyu came to call him out himself. He was reluctant but he did not let it show to the little boy as he stood up and followed the father of the boy outside.
"You could have called me to come downstairs," he told Lu Mingyu as he pulled his hand from the man's grip.
"I wanted to pick you up myself," Lu Mingyu replied sincerely as he held the man's hand. He clasped the younger man's hand between his hands.
YanJun tried to pull his hand away but the man held unto his hand only pulling away one of his hands. He pulled the younger man closer to his body before wrapping his hand around his waist.
"Could we not be this close to each other?" YanJun asked very calmly.
