A burst of laughter filled the entire guild hall. Alissia lowered her head. She really did not mean for any of what was said to happen! She quickly turned around and looked at the girl behind the counter that had a strange roundish cloth hat on her head with a wide round brim and emblem of a dragon on it, giggling away at Alissia's expense. She wanted to ignore what had just happened altogether.
"Umm…. We came to register to the guild." Alissia did not wish to just sit around all day. She still had a lot of things to do.
"Ahem…" The girl blushed as she cleared her throat. "Do you know how the guild works?" The receptionist asked.
"No. I only know you can take requests and then get money for completing them." Alissia answered honestly.
"Alright then. Let me give you a run down." The receptionist took out this huge board with a picture of a graph with a bunch of letters on it and placed it on the counter. "The rankings for the guild are based on your own abilities. The more requests you do, the more points you will gain towards advancing to the next rank. But before you can advance, you will need to take a rank up test to make sure your capabilities hold up to the rank you are going for.
"Ranks go from F rank all the way to S rank. Most of the time, when someone signs up, you will be automatically given F rank, and then after a few requests, you can request a rank up test. But with the show you just put on, I will have you go in for a test now to get a better grasp of your abilities.
"With that said, will all of you be signing up? And if so, would you like to register yourselves as a team? Teams also have their own ranking, which is normally based on the sum of each member's personal rank. So say you have an F rank, an E rank, and a C rank in a team. The average would be a Lower D rank. Each ranking has lower, middle, and high ranking. So what would you like to do?" The receptionist asked with a smile.
Alissia's head was spinning. She wondered if this world just liked to make things complicated. Why were there rankings for everything!? Sighing, Alissia replied: "Yes, we will be forming the team. Call us The…."
"The Beauty Three!" Princess Fina suddenly yelled out. Her words causing another uproar of laughter.
"The Beauty Three! That is rich!"
"I Haven't seen their faces, and their bodies are covered in cloaks, but their voices aren't bad."
"Man, you don't know if that is some dude using voice changing magic. He could be the ugliest son of a bitch you ever met!"
"Turn out the lights and find a hole. It's all the same!"
"You sick drunken bastard!"
"Hahahahaha!"
Princess Fina blushed. She never expected her little outburst to cause a commotion. "On second thought…."
"Okay, the team: The Beauty Three is now registered. Please sign the forms to make it all official." The receptionist left the three girls speechless. They really wanted to ask, are you forcing us to take this name!?
"Ummm, but I…" Princess Fina was not about to give up as she went to try to say she wanted to change the name, but before she could finish speaking, a paper was shoved in her hands. "Please sign here and here. And a drop of blood here. "
"But I…."
"Please sign quickly if you wish to sign up, there are people waiting." The receptionist once more interrupted Princess Fina leaving the poor princess speechless.
But hearing the receptionist's words Princess Fina could only submit and go to sign the paper but not before turning around to find no one standing behind them. Alissia reached over and patted her shoulder. "Give up. She will say there are ghosts waiting to be reincarnated next."
"Ghost!?" Princess Fina cried out, once more catching everyone's attention. She blushed and lowered her head as she signed the forms. Everyone only put their first name down on their registration forms. This was something that they had all decided on the way here so that no one's identity would be revealed.
The good thing about the guild was they only really used the drop of blood to recognize you, which made things simpler for Alissia and the girls. Princess Fina could not expose her identity, and Alissia did not want to deal with people trying to steal her golden haired beauty from her.
After passing the forms in, the receptionist looked them over before nodding her head and saying: "Okay, please use the side door to your left. I will take you to where you will take your test."
"Thank you," Alissia replied with a smile. The receptionist nodded and walked away from the window. The three girls went to the side and walked through the side door to see the receptionist standing there waiting for them.
"This way. And ummm… Princess Fina, you can take your hood off now. I already know it's you as we have had your blood signature and magic signature long registered with the guild." The receptionist's words caused Princess Fina to pause her steps. She began to worry that maybe she would be dragged back or have a ton of guards shoved down her throat. She turned and looked at Alissia, who reached up and placed her hand on Princess fina's head.
"Don't worry. If anyone tries to take you away from me, I will just punch them." Alissia said in a gentle voice that soothed Princess Fina's heart. She weakly nodded and reached up to pull her hood off. Alissa and MIllie also did the same.
This resulted in a gasp coming from the receptionist's mouth. "No wonder you wanted to name your team The Beauty Three. You are all so pretty. I will make a note to praise The Beauty Three as much as possible from now on."
"Umm, can you stop calling us that?" Princess Fina asked. She was starting to hate this name!
"What is wrong with calling you girls The Beauty Three!? You are all beautiful, so it fits well. The Beauty Three was an amazing choice. So many beauties in a single team. When things are down, and all hope seems to be lost, The Beauty Three will come to the rescu….. Ouch! Why did you hit me!?" The receptionist's hat dnow had a huge dent in it from Alissia's fists.
"You're bothering my Fina, so stop."
