"You! What are you doing here!?" The pudgy man yelled out. He had no idea how these two girls got behind him. The door to his office was locked. He made sure of it! The only other entrance was from upstairs.
"What am I doing here?" Alissia put her hands to her chest as she looked up at the ceiling, her eyes looking off into the distance. "Well, my mama… and papa…. Well, you see…. They did that…. You know…. And then they….. ….." Alissia's voice trailed off.
"Then they what!?" The pudgy man asked. He couldn't help but gulp when he saw how cute a blushing Alissia was.
"They… well… You really want to know?" Alissia asked in a shy voice.
"Yes…. Tell me! What did they do?" Hearing the pudgy man's excitement. Millie, who was watching the show, held her head. She was wondering just how much of an idiot this pudgy man was.
"They… well…. THEY PUNCHED YOU IN THE FACE!" Alissia's delicate fist landed on the pudgy man's face. He went flying out of his chair and through the wall, smashing through the wall of the main entrance of the inn, and out into the street. He hit the ground and tumbled a few times before smashing into a fancy looking carriage.
"Who dares!?" A knight in silver armor shouted as he and a few other knights surrounded the pudgy man.
"Hey, hey, do not be taking other people's prey." A soft yet sweet voice was heard coming from the inn. Alissia, with her sword on her back, slowly stepped out of the gaping hole in the inn and walked down the steps towards the guards and the pudgy man. "This bastard has been tricking girls into taking a fancy room in his inn and doing unspeakable things to them."
The knight's faces all turned sour as they looked at the pudgy man. One of the knights walked over and bowed his head to Alissia. "Miss, may I know if you have any proof?"
"Millie." Alissia held out her hand. Millie stepped forward and placed a book in her hand. "This is his ledger. May I know who you are to be asking for proof? I don't hand proof over to just anyone."
"Miss, do not worry. My name is Carlos, and I am the head Knight in charge of protecting the Princess. " Carlos answered while bowing his head.
"I see… So that means the Princess is in the carriage there?" Alissia asked. She was very curious as to what a kingdom princess would look like.
"Carlos…." A soft melodic voice that held a presence of nobility came from the carriage. "Help me down."
"Yes, Princess!" Carlos quickly went to the carriage and opened it. He bowed his head and reached out his hand to have the delicate hand of the girl inside hold it so he could help her down, but after a few minutes went by, no one grabbed his hand. He slowly looked up to see the Princess holding the hand of the beautiful maiden from before. He was quite confused because normally the Princess would need him to help her down, but this time….
Seconds earlier….
As soon as Alissia saw the Princess's face, she suddenly disappeared from where she stood and reappeared at the door to the carriage opposite of Carlos and held out her hand. The Princess looked stunned for a moment but then smiled sweetly as she took Alissia's hand and climbed down off the carriage. She then walked hand in hand with Alissia back towards Millie.
It was only when they stopped that the Princess pulled her hand back. Alissia felt the soft hand slip through her fingers and pursed her lips. It just so happened then the golden haired beauty was just Alissia's type. She couldn't help but want to flirt with her.
While Alissia was checking the Princess out, the Princess was checking her out. "So you are the rumored princess?"
"Please, not this again!" Alissia moaned. "Please understand I did not ask to be called a princess. I keep telling everyone that I am not one."
"Hehe…." The Princess held her hand over her mouth as she laughed. Her golden hair swayed as her green eyes slightly glowed. She looked at Alissia with great interest. She was glad she dressed more plainly than usual. She was, in fact, not looking forward to this but now…. Her long simple purple dress with minimal frills fluttered in the gentle breeze as she smiled softly at Alissia. "To think that the Young Miss of the Greyworth family was actually the rumored princess."
"Oh, you know me?" Alissia tilted her head to the side in confusion.
"Young Miss, she is the crown princess of the kingdom, Fina Gransdale. She is your fiance's sister." Millie, who was standing at the side, stepped forward to explain.
"Oh? You're that asshole's sister? I feel sorry for you." Alissia said honestly.
Princess Fina stared at Alissia in disbelief before suddenly bursting out laughing. "Haha! I have never met a girl who would call my brother such words. I have decided. Alissia Greyworth. Let's be friends."
"Friends? Okay!" Alissia had no issues becoming friends with a beauty. She could then warm up to the Princess which will lead to many very good experiences. It was at times like these that Alissia was very glad to be a girl.
"You are much different than what the rumors speak of you." Princess Fina smiled. "Very different. But I heard that the Emilia girl had used magic on you and heavily injured you. Are you okay?"
"Oh yeah, I still need to punch that girl in the face. I should do that by the end of the day. Do you happen to know where she lives?" Alissia asked with a serious expression on her face.
"Haha! Yes, I do, actually. If you wish, I can bring you there and even introduce you to her. I really would like to see this punch of yours." She turned and looked at the pudgy man who was now playing dead on the ground. "It seems quite strong."
"Ahh! Right! I forgot about him. Hey, Carlos was it? Here is the evidence of this man's crimes."
