Millie watched as her young miss began running away at an extremely fast speed while the girl who had harmed her before chased after her with a strange look on her face. It was not one of anger or hate but one filled with excitement and happiness? "Did Young Miss's fist create a monster?"
Seeing her Young Miss getting further away, Millie picked up her robe and quickly chased after Alissia. She did not wish to be left behind! "Yong Miss, wait for me!"
A scene of four girls chasing each other around a small crater in the middle of the street could be seen. Alissia ran so fast that she soon gained ground to be right behind Millie. She scooped Millie up before running past the crazy head and then scooped Princess Fina up all before jumping in the carriage. She then stuck her head out the window and yelled out: "Old man, I am going to the palace, don't look for me!"
"Fina! Go! Go!" Alissia yelled out, dropping all honorifics. She really did not care right now. She could not hit the girl who liked to be hit!
"Ah yes! Hurry and leave! We head to the palace!" Princess Fina yelled out.
"Yes, Princess!" Carlos quickly answered before motioning for the carriage driver to take off. Behind him, a maniac was screaming and yelling as she was dragged away by the other knights. "Why are you stopping me from being stepped on by my Master!? I just want her to step on me a few times! Just once! One time will do! With her…. Haaah! Haaah! Barefeet! Slurp!"
Federick Greyworth watched the whole thing with his mouth wide open. He just found his daughter, and she was now running away with the Princess while some freak was asking to be stepped on. He really did not understand the situation. It took him a few seconds before coming back to his senses. When he did, he quickly turned around and yelled at the top of his lungs. "No matter how far you run, Alissia, you will still be the next family head! I have already filled out all the paperwork! You can't hide forever!"
Alissia pretended to not hear anything as she sat back against the cushioned seat of the carriage. Her arms around the waists of both Princess Fina and Millie. "Wow, now that was ummm…. Definitely new…."
"Hah…. Hahahahaha! I am so glad I met you, Alissia. That was the funniest and most interesting thing I have ever seen!" Princess Fina yelled out as she leaned against Alissia. "And you called me Fina. Not Princess Fina but by my actual name."
"Ahhh! Sorry I was in a rush and forgot to use your title…." Alissia wanted to apologize but a finger pressed against her lip, stopping her from continuing.
"No…. I want you to use my name. I give you permission. Real friends do not abide by the laws of nobility. They talk and call each other's names as equals. Just like if they were commoners." Princess Fina explained with a smile.
"Alright, then I will call you Fina from now on." Alissia said with a nod. She was very happy right now. The Princess was leaning against her as if it was a natural thing which was a very good first step towards the greatness of maybe a sleepover where they sleep in the same bed or take a bath together… Alissia did not know what girls did when alone during sleepovers, but this was what was coming to mind. "Speaking of that. Millie, you can just call me by my name if you wish. Calling me Young Miss must get tiresome."
"No can do, Young Miss. As your maid, I am unable to go against the proper procedure. My job is to help you with your daily life with anything you need. " Millie answered resolutely. She had decided to always be by her Young Miss's side, so she had to at least keep her position so it would never be lost.
"Alright, if you feel so strongly about it." Alissia pursed her lips. She closed her eyes and felt very relaxed. It had been a long tiring day. "Millie, after we visit the palace, we will need to find an inn someplace, and tomorrow we can go to the adventurers guild."
"You plan to join the adventurers guild!?" Princess Fina asked.
"Well yeah, I need to earn money and want to travel. You heard the old coot. He seems dead set on making me his heir after I punched him. I am starting to think I should kick people instead. Punching seems to change people." Thinking of how the Emilia girl started ranting about wanting to be stepped on after being punched, Alissia decided to maybe kick people instead.
"I do not think that is the issue. Alissia." Princess Fina said with a chuckle.
The girls, Millie included, all chatted and joked around as the carriage rolled down the street. Alissia made sure to include Millie so she would not feel left out, and Princess Fina even allowed MIllie to call her by her name as well when they were alone. She did not wish for MIllie to get in trouble if she used her name in public. It was not that Princess Fina was being mean but more that she was looking out for Millie, who was a servant.
After about an hour of traveling, the group finally arrived at the palace gates. Alissia peeked out the window to see a white stone castle with towering watch towers similar to the medieval days of England. She could only glance at it a little before the carriage came to a stop in front of the castle entrance.
The three girls got out of the carriage. "Carlos, please notify father that I will be coming to greet him and that I am bringing along the Princess he so wished to see…." Princess Fina passed when she realized something was off. "Alissia!? Millie, where is Alissia!?"
Alissia, who had gotten off the carriage and walked forward to check the area out suddenly paused and looked around her. "Did I get lost?"
