Alexander looked at the two storey bungalow, he nodded his head unconsciously upon admitting that their house was not so bad.
"Can you wait here for a while? I will check what happened and come back to send you home?" She said, leaving the key with him in case he wanted to stay inside the car.
"Here?" He asked, stopping her from leaving. He thought she could at least invite him in since they were engaged. It was just a basic logic to his mind.
"Just, hmm, five minutes." She raised her right hand showing her five fingers. It's not like she didn't want to invite him in, because she could feel the situation didn't feel good.
He bobbed his head, "Okay…" he moved to the side and leaned to the car. "Five minutes." He reminded her when she still did not move.
"Ah…" She rushed into the house.
Entering the living room, no one was there. She looked around at the kitchen and saw Aunt Gab was washing the dishes.
"Where is everyone?" She asked.
Shocked by the sudden question, Aunt Gab almost lost her grip on the plate, "Miss…" She rubbed her chest, complaining about the sudden approach.
"Sorry, sorry." She came and hugged her shoulders. She and Aunt Gab were so close that she already considered her as a family.
"Are you looking for Sir Andrew? He is upstairs." She said, moving her hand.
"Upstairs? His studies or room?" It will be quick for her to ask instead of searching for two or more places.
"Your room." Aunt Gab's eyes showed concern.
"My room?" The anxiety that she felt before, came rushing in again.
Aunt Gab held her hand and rubbed it with her other hand. Her eyes confirmed what was on Camellia's mind right now. Something bad must have happened.
"I'm okay Aunt Gab." She smiled and slowly let her hand go, before running upstairs towards her room.
The door that suddenly opened made all the eyes in the room change direction to the person that was standing there.
Andrew, Pamela and Christie, all three of them were gathering in her room. They were close to each other standing near her desk where she did all her work. Still didn't spot anything that she could call bad news, she stepped in with her brows almost met.
"Honey…" Andrew came in hurry like he was blocking her from walking forward to her desk.
Ignored, she softly pushed her dad aside. Her eyes stayed on the desk, she couldn't see properly since Christie blocked it. "Move…" She pulled Christie forward but she didn't budge. "I said move!" At the time, she already could see her A3 size paper that was supposed to be in her drawer was perfectly laid on the table but that's not all. The stain! The big coffee stain made her have a hard time breathing.
"Who did this?!" She yelled! Already lost her mind. Her hard work for a month just ruined like that. Suddenly recalling the design that she almost finished, she turned to her right looking for the headless mannequin. She let out a relief when she saw that it still stood there, left untouched.
"Honey, listen. Christie didn't mean to do that, she just came in to take something but she stumbled and dropped the coffee on it." Andrew trying to explain the excuse that he got from Christie earlier.
The ridiculous excuse that she received made her let out a loud, unrestrained burst of laughter. "Wait, wait, come again dad?"
"Camellia…" Andrew lowered his voice, trying to ask her to mind her attitude.
"So, she came in, finding something that was not supposed to be hers and suddenly dropped the coffee on my drawing that was supposed to be in my drawer? Am I hearing it right?" She explained everything in sarcastic words.
"I'm sorry, I really didn't mean it?" Christie said with her face looking sullen like she always did in the past.
"You didn't mean it? So did my drawing move by itself on the table?!" She lost it, she really wanted to pull Christie's hair right now.
"I don't know, when I came in, it was already there." Christie was still playing victim.
"And for God's sake! In the first place, you are not supposed to enter my room!" Her legs moved faster than her mind, she was already in front of Christie at the moment.
"I'm just looking for my baby blue dress-"
"Not in my room!" Her voice rang around her room, Aunt Gab might hear it too, since the door to her room was opened wide.
"Who knows-"
Didn't even manage to finish her words, Christie's hair was grabbed by Camellia. "Who knows what?!" Pulling it harder, Christie's body slightly bent backward, following the direction of the drag.
"Mom!" Christie yelp for help.
In the middle of chaos, Andrew and Pamela came to the rescue. Andrew tried to pull Camellia's grip from Christie's hair but she was determined to let her go bald. Seeing that Camellia didn't want to give up, Pamela grabbed Camellia's hair.
"Mom, don't, don't, don't." Christie cried in pain. Because of Pamela's action, Camellia got pulled to another direction and it made Christie's get dragged together. "My scalp mom!!"
Pamela gave up, before rushing back to Christie and tried her best to make Camellia's lose her grip. "Are you crazy?!" She shouted.
"Do you think I'm in my right mind right now?" She responded to her question with a scowl.
Come to the last resort, Pamela bit her hand hard and that time finally Camellia let her grip from Christie's hair.
Christie's eyes were teary, she was mad and thinking what she should do to make Camellia learn the mistake that she had done. She turned around and spotted the mannequin that Camellia looked at with relief just now. She sent a smirk to Camellia before running to the mannequin.
"No, no!" Camellia realised what she was going to do but then Christie had already grabbed the neck part then tore it from top to bottom before letting out a satisfied smile.
"What are you doing?!" Andrew rushed to the mannequin then sent a look to Camellia that was standing stiffly there.
Her eyes showed the sadness while her lips started trembling.
"Honey…" Andrew quickly moved and hugged her. "I will help you in whatever you need to make it done in ten days." He tried to calm her.
She didn't answer. Her eyes were still staring at the design that she spent two months creating. All the drawing, the design, sewing she went through almost three months just to end up with seeing them ruined.
Christie was so pleased with herself, she continued mocking her by sticking out her tongue. She really didn't behave like a twenty four years old woman. She came to the last satisfaction when she pushed the mannequin down.
"Stop it!" Andrew shouted and made both of them startled but Camellia didn't have any reaction. It was like she lost her soul.
"What happened?" A deep man's voice coming from the door stopped everything in the room.
