"I do know the textbook definition, the same simplified answers that has been taught to all of us 'A Witch's crest is the symbol of a Witch',and a Witch is someone capable of Magic, having a crest makes you a Witch and therefore capable of magic"

"Exactly, painfully crude I know, but so far that is where my knowledge on Witch crests stop, I know Witch crests can vary depending on bloodline or race, I just don't know why"
