"Mrs. Yancey, Master Liam, rest assured, for the next half a month we two will provide full-time care during the day. After half a month, you'll get the hang of it. Don't worry, all new parents go through this..."
Tara Summer nodded, finally putting her heart at ease.
Yet, she gazed at the two babies and still really wanted to hold them.
"May I hold them?" she asked.
"Of course..." The nurses, carrying the children, came to the bedside. One nurse gently handed the baby boy to her and reminded her of what to pay attention to.
Tara learned quickly. This time when she held him, the child didn't cry and actually slept with his eyes closed, looking very sweet and peaceful.
She was overjoyed, staring at the little baby in the swaddle, the more she looked, the more she adored him.
After holding him for ten minutes, Tara switched to the baby girl. The frail body of the baby girl made her heart ache, and her eyes reddened.
