The great Vampire who lived for thousands of years moved forward in great momentum to hunt a chicken. Even the surrounding player felt his momentum and shrunk back a bit.
They thought an experienced player for some reason was passing through this beginner's area and made a way. Some poor players were even attacked by the chickens at this moment.
The players were dumbfounded when that female 'expert' joined them and waited for the chickens to respawn.
"..."
"..."
Was the female player just one of them who wanted to bully the chickens? After realising that there was no expert, the players with their faces red in
embarrassment started to hunt the chickens vigorously to vent their anger because of the female player.
Seeing this funny scene Raizen thought with a smile 'Being serious obviously doesn't suit me'
He patiently stood at the edge of the group of people. After 30 to 40 seconds, a lone chicken stumbled out of the onslaught of players.
'Now' Raizen immediately struck the chicken viciously. His sword strikes were precise and calculated unlike the newbies swinging the sword wildly.
Before anyone noticed five swift strikes were dealt and the chicken died. Even though the chicken tried to evade the strikes and still succeeded sometimes, it died quickly. Because before it landed after evading, a sword would already be before its eyes.
[You killed a wild chicken. You have gained +10 experience] Raizen saw the notification after he killed the chicken. Ignoring the screen he picked up the chicken meat that was dropped.
[Obtained chicken meat ×1] Raizen once again saw the notification. He nodded his head, satisfied.
'It seems my swordsmanship is still not rusty after so many years' Raizen thought. Still, he could have used even superior swordsmanship if he was in his vampire body.
He also felt some wasted movements when striking the chicken because he has still not adapted to a human body. Raizen predicted he would overcome this last resistance if he swung the sword a few more times.
A player came running towards Raizen after seeing a chicken mistakenly run out of their enclosure. But he only saw a female player and no chicken.
The female player just stood with her sword without even competing with the others to hunt the chicken.
'It seems she has given up. Hmph, weakness disgusts me. It seems I was mistaken' he immediately ran back into the mob of players afraid of getting left behind.
After a few minutes, he ran back again seeing another chicken escape their encirclement. Again he only saw the female player and not the chicken.
'What is going on? I clearly saw a chicken run towards here just a few seconds back' he stared at the female player in suspicion. But the female player didn't notice him and was just staring at the chickens.
He was not interested in this beautiful female player since hunting chickens was more important than chicks.
'Am I hallucinating? Since I was hunting chicken for the past two hours, am I seeing chickens everywhere?' he thought in confusion.
He went back into the crowd of people scratching his head in confusion.
'I should probably take some rest after I reach level 3' he thought.
Yet once again after a few minutes he ran out of the crowd. This time there was great resolution in his eyes because this time he even struck the chicken once with his sword and dealt 3 damage.
'It's real. I am not hallucinating' he got elated and chased in determination to find the mystery behind the disappearance of the chicken.
When he arrived at the spot he only saw a lonely chicken running off hoping to escape from the player who killed all his ancestors.
The player was dumbfounded that there was no female player and only the scared chicken. Now only he noticed that the chicken was clearly before him and did not disappear.
'Was it a bug?' he wondered. He immediately reported the 'bug' as he moved towards the chicken to hunt it. He naturally forgot about the female player in the joy of finding the chicken.
After killing the chicken he will finally reach level 3.
'I will log out and have chicken fries' he thought as he hunted the chicken vigorously.
Raizen now moved to the other end of the encirclement. Previously when he observed this scene, he noticed sometimes one or two chickens would mistakenly stumble out of the slaughter and try to escape.
But after some time, the humans would notice it and will kill it. But again new chickens would stumble out and the process would repeat itself.
So he planned to use this to hunt the chickens fastly and efficiently because even if he has all the time in the world, the quest's limit was only two hours and he still needs to hunt a boar
After hunting one or two chickens, he would move his position to avoid dragging attention to himself and hindering his speed.
After 30 mins Raizen killed 10 chickens and collected 10 chicken meat and he even got 2 eggs.
After meeting his objective he immediately left this place in search of the boar leaving behind some dumbfounded who saw the chicken magically disappear.
The players immediately reported this phenomenon as a bug and demanded compensation from the dream corporation.
The dream corporation had a headache trying to convince these angry players that there was no bug.
Raizen opened his quest window and saw the information.
