"I'm not asking for your forgiveness. I only feel that I need to apologize to you for what happened." After Alexia finished speaking, she wiped her tears and looked at me apologetically.
I looked at her apologetic gaze. I didn't know if she was being sincere or just acting, but since she had already done so much, it was time for me to let go and move on from that failed relationship.
"It's all in the past. Let bygones be bygones." I supported her by her shoulders and told her solemnly.
"You're right. It's all in the past." When Alexia heard my response, she smiled.
"In that case, can we start over? Hello, I'm Alexia. I hope to be friends with you." Alexia put out her right hand again and looked at me hopefully.
I looked at her hand. Honestly, I didn't understand how things had turned out like this. But, I was still slightly concerned about it, so I didn't reciprocate.
