FLASH BACK ON
In the morning Eldrick was in the office. He wanted to call Daphnee, but he knew it was still dark in Ireland. Daphnee, Daven, and Geona must have slept well. Eldrick wanted to wait but his heart grew restless. Eldrick saw Shayna who was sitting at the front table. His secretary was at work right in front of Eldrick's room. He had deliberately made Shayna work in front of his room because he didn't want them to work all day in the same room.
"Shay, I am going back to Ireland. Please postpone all my schedules. I will be back the day after tomorrow."
"Why is it so sudden, sir? Is there any problem?" Shayna asked
"There is something I need to finish. I have to make sure my future wife is okay," Eldrick answered.
""Okay sir. I will rearrange your schedule," Shayna said, trying to understand the situation.
"Thanks, I will definitely bring something for you."
Eldrick immediately rushed and asked the driver to take him to the airport. He did not bring anything but a cell phone and a backpack that he always carried with him everywhere.
FLASH BACK OFF
Eldrick let go of his embrace and he looked at Ozora's face. "Have you eaten?" he asked. Ozora shook her head as an answer.
"Okay. We will buy some food at a nearby restaurant. You are safe with me. Don't be afraid anymore," Eldrick said, comforting his woman.
Before starting the car, Eldrick made sure his future wife was calm. He rubbed Ozora's head then breathed a sigh of relief because Ozora was not afraid anymore.
Convinced that Ozora had calmed down, the man corrected his position and started the car.
Ozora wanted to ask about Eldrick's presence at the daycare but the scary incident still made her mouth shut.
"Do you want to eat in the car or in the restaurant?" Eldrick asked after they stopped in front of a restaurant.
"We eat in the car. I am not ready to meet with strangers."
"You wait here, okay? I will buy some food for you."
Eldrick's mind raced. Many questions appeared in his mind. There were many things he wanted to know but he had to control his mind.
Eldrick ordered a serving of food. He asked the waiter to wrap it because he would feed Ozora in the car.
Getting food from the waiter, Eldrick immediately exited the restaurant and got into his car which was still in the parking lot.
"You eat first. I will feed you," Eldrick said, opening the cover of the food and taking the wooden spoon that was also provided.
"Why don't you eat? Aren't you hungry?" Ozora asked after one mouthful entered her mouth.
"I don't like junk food. This food doesn't suit my tongue," Eldrick replied. Ozora, who already knew Eldrick well, could only be silent without comment. She knew Eldrick was a very picky man.
Ozora's fear disappeared and her hungry stomach was filled. The man managed to feed her until the food ran out.
"Why are you in Ireland?" Ozora asked. She felt much calmer than before, that's why Ozora immediately asked.
"I am in Ireland because of you. You have made me suffer. I am so tortured," Eldrick replied.
"Torture? Why do you feel tortured? I didn't do anything to you," Ozora asked, frowning.
"I am tormented because you made a condition not to see you for six months. Do you want me to die because I miss you too much? This is outrageous. Every night I have trouble sleeping because I think about you," Eldrick replied.
"I am sorry. I didn't mean to torture you. I did this because I was afraid of making the wrong decision. I am really sorry," Ozora said, feeling guilty.
"I have been worrying about you since last night. So I flew straight to Ireland. At least I didn't intend to meet you for fear of violating your terms. At first I just wanted to watch you from afar but suddenly the lights went out. I know you are afraid of the dark, that's why I went straight to your place," Eldrick explained.
"Are you still scared," Eldrick asked to be sure.
"Thank you, El. I didn't scared anymore," Ozora answered.
Ozora looked at Eldrick's face. She was grateful because the man had come in righ time. Ozora would be tormented because of her fear if Eldrick did not help her.
"Let's go home. It's very late. Tomorrow I have to go back to Japan. I have some clients I need to meet," Eldrick said, making Ozora look at him.
Ozora's eyes glazed over. She did not want to lose Eldrick's love but she also had to be prepared herself if the man would hate her because of her past. Ozora did not want to lie to Eldrick like her biological mother did. Ozora had to tell Eldrick everything before they got married and the man turned into a monster like her stepfather.
"Can your return be delayed? I want to tell you something important," Ozora asked.
"You know what? Going back to Japan without you is so hard for me. But I have to go back. I have already canceled many appointments and there's no way I can cancel it again," Eldrick explained.
"Can I meet you before I leave?" Eldrick asked, hoping Ozora would agree.
"Yes, you can't. Tomorrow I will see you. From now on you can contact me. I don't want to make you suffer anymore," Ozora said.
"Really? Did you really cancel your conditions?" Eldrick asked just to reassure himself.
"Yes, you can called me as you want,"
"Every day?"
"Hmmm. You can call me every day."
"Good. So starting tomorrow I won't have to talk to your photo anymore."
"Talking with my photo? What do you mean?" Ozora frowned. She did not understand what the man was saying.
"I purposely printed your photo and hung it in my bedroom. You must be curious, right? You will see it after we get married."
