Chapter 13 - Sis Maya is fussy

Part 13.

Less than fifteen minutes, we had arrived at the school gate. The motorbike goes straight into the parking lot. I got off the pillion while tidying up the span skirt I was wearing.

"Thank you, Bro!" I said as I was about to leave the parking lot.

"You're welcome," he answered slowly.

"You do live in that residential area, don't you?" Bro Nugroho aligns my steps.

"Hm, that's my Aunt's house! It's only been three months live with his family.

"Oh, right..." he paused. "What fast, Bro?" I asked confused.

"Well-ah, see you later!" he said. We parted ways at the corner of the corridor to our respective classes.

"Viraaaa!" shouted a voice behind me.

"Hmm, who else," I grumbled. As soon as I looked back, my best friend was running towards me.

"Eeh, Triii! Why are you running around like that!?" "So nice to be you, ya, Vir!" she protested.

"What do you mean?" I asked confused.

"How come Bro Nugroho came with you?" asked my best friend with a sullen face.

I immediately laughed at his protest. Then I will tell you what happened in detail. Triana was silent, no longer asking. It means that it happened accidentally, aka windfall.

Teett... teett... teett.

The bell rang and all the students ran into the classroom. If you arrive late, you will be ordered to clean the large yard for up to an hour of class.

However, luckily I wasn't asked to brush the toilet, you know that public bathrooms smell really good. As soon as I entered the classroom, I saw a strange look from a girlfriend. Why are they, like I just have debt, I thought.

"Viraa... just now, my friends were in an uproar, seeing you riding with the Student Council Brother!" said the class president.

"Hm... that problem again!" I muttered.

Derrtt... derrtt...

My cell phone vibrated when the last lesson was over. Oh my gosh, I forgot to deactivate this favorite thing. Luckily it just vibrates. After the home bell rang, then I dared to open the phone screen.

"Assalamu'alaikum Mr. Ahmad," I greeted when I heard a voice on the other end of the phone.

"Wa'alaikumsalam, Vira," he replied.

"I can't pick you up this afternoon, because I want to go home for a while to see Aunt Titin's condition!"

"Just call Sis Maya, who knows? finished the photo shoot!" suggested Mr. Ahmad.

"Yes, it's okay, sir! Vira just take a bus home!" I said.

"Okay, be careful, Vira," said Mr. Ahmad, ending the call.

"Yes sir!" I said then put the phone back in the bag.

Mr. Ahmad also knows that Sis Maya doesn't like to see me living with her family. So I don't want to force it if I ask my cousin to pick me up.

"Viraa ... so what do you ride home?" ask Triana when she remembered my story this morning.

"Take a Bus come on!" I said.

"The problem is that the direction of our house is different, if not, we can definitely ride in three with my sister," said Triana.

"Duh, don't bother, Trii, just relax!" I said waving my hand.

"Y-yes, I go first Vir! My sister is waiting!" Triana waved her hand.

I continued the road to the intersection, there were often seen angkots hanging around. The other friends were surprised, usually, I was brought by car, why is this even on foot? Hmm, it's very stupid what people want to say, the important thing is that my life doesn't bother them.

"Hey, I'll take you, let's go!" a voice behind me startled me.

"Then someone will be jealous, Bro!" I protest.

"Oh, you already have a boyfriend, ya?"

"Open it, I mean, Brother's girlfriend will be jealous!" I explained.

"Hm, I happen to be single," he said.

Hearing the confession of a classmate who is widely admired by a girl from this school, I felt like jumping for joy, but I was afraid of falling off the rocking chair. Eeh, I'm even humming in my heart.

*****

Being on a piggyback ride with a guy who is in love with a girl from the same school, this heart feeling is like nano-nano, aka crowded. Between happy, insecure, and afraid of being discovered by people at home.

I asked Bro Nugroho to take me to the intersection. Let me walk a little into the housing. But he didn't want to stop the bike.

I can't even jump off this bike. Later on, I thought my security was kidnapped too. The only way I had to lie, was so that he stopped the motor.

"Sis stop in front of the house, yes!" I asked.

"Oh, that's your Aunt's house, ya?"

"Y-yes, Sis," I answered slightly flustered.

Bro Nugroho's motorbike stopped right in front of the whitewashed house, the fence was slightly open. Then I go down and say thank you.

"Thanks for the ride, Bro!"

"You're welcome, Vira! Nice to meet you," he said.

Bro Nugroho's motorbike turned towards the exit of the housing. After the motorbike passed three houses, then I walked slowly

to my aunt's house.

Luckily the owner of the whitewashed house didn't come out when we stopped in front of the fence.

Tiin ... tiin...

The sound of car horns was deafening. As soon as I looked back, Sis Maya's car passed beside me. Hey ... you arrogant, because I have a car, I grumbled.

Eeh, I suddenly became cold sweat, the shirt I was wearing started to get wet. Did Sis Maya see me or not, did you get off the motorbike earlier? Ahh, why are you afraid, I'm just being driven home, not going anywhere.

As soon as I arrived at the fence, I saw Maya's sister had just gotten out of her car. Seeing me arrive, he immediately grumbled with his hands on his hips.

"Viraaa ... you want to go to school or dating, ya?!" his screams startled me.

"What's the matter, sis?" I asked. "Who was the boy who was carrying you earlier?"

"Oh that's a friend, coincidentally his house is in the same direction as this housing!" I explained.

"Coincidence or on purpose, haha! See you later I'll tell Mama!" nagging while entering the house.

"Hm, it's useless to be beautiful, but her speech is not as beautiful as her face, I grumbled.

To be continued...
