"...So that was molarity and molality. Revise concentration terms, law of definite proportions, Gay Lussac's law and law of conversation of mass at home and we'll conclude mole concept in the next class," The chemistry teacher said when the time was almost over. After about 2 minutes, the bell rang.
Again, the wild animal locked up in a cage category of students ran out. When more than half the class was gone, Willow also got up. Just as he was about to walk away, his gaze landed on the uncertain boy beside him.
Charlie had been acting weird since earlier. Many times, he tried to say something, but ended up not saying anything in the end. It was obvious that he was having a serious internal debate. In the lunch break, Willow even asked if something was the matter, but he just got all startled and nervously shrugged it off, saying nothing.
Well, he already asked once and if he doesn't want to say it, it's not like Willow can force it out.
As he was about to leave, Charlie suddenly grabbed his hand. He stammered nervously, "Uh, Willow! I know it might be too much to ask but, uh, you can totally say no if you want! It's just a suggestion..."
He was almost sweating as he said that. A little sorry for him, Willow asked softly, "Just say it Charlie. I won't refuse," He regretted his words as soon as they left his mouth and added for the sake of his chastity, "I know you won't ask for something inappropriate, right?"
"N-No! It's not something like that!" Charlie cried out embarrassedly. His face was beet red as he turned his gaze away in shame.
Willow absolutely did not want to know what this lust crazed male lead thought of.
"I just wanted to ask you...Do you have time this weekend?" He asked, eyes shining with hope.
Willow couldn't help but release a breath of relief when he heard that. So this guy just wanted to hang out. Thank god he wasn't going to be pushed down. Maybe Charlie was so nervous because he didn't have any friends and hadn't previously asked anyone else to hang out. He probably even spends all his weekends alone...
Sorry for him, Willow offered, "-Yes, I'm quite free. Do you wanna hang out?"
Charlie's eyes lit up at that. Grabbing his hands, he beamed, "Really?! Just me and you?"
He almost couldn't believe it! He's going to be alone with his perfect Willow, the sole reason for his existence!
His sudden enthusiasm made Willow feel a little ominous. He added, "Adelia's going to be there too. It's alright, right?" Presence of a third party was always a must! Being alone with the male lead was like serving yourself on a platter and begging to be eaten up, after all!
Charlie frowned at Adelia's name. "Oh, okay. If it's for you, Willow, I can ever tolerate that girl,"
His expression became more twisted when he said the last part, as if he was speaking about some bug that had just crawled on his face and ruined the mood.
'Mr. Male Lead, I know that you hate Adelia but please make it a little less obvious, okay?!'
"Then it's decided. Let's meet up tomorrow at 12."
Although Charlie nodded, his eyes were still busy glaring daggers at a certain girl at the back of the classroom. If looks could kill, Willow would've lost his sister today. Trying to build up some good feelings for her and getting her out of the red zone, he remarked, "Uh, Charlie, please try to hate her a little less, okay? She may have some flaws, but my sister is really nice once you get to know her-"
"Will, I don't have all day to wait here while you guys flirt. Come on."
'Hey my 'nice' sister, couldn't you be just a little more polite when I'm trying so hard to get you out of his hit list?'
Slinging her hands over his shoulders casually, she asked, "What were you guys talking about?"
Who does this bug think she is touching his Will however she pleases?
"Can you 'please'-" Trying hard to keep a straight face, Charlie said 'softly', "-KEEP YOUR HANDS OFF HIM?"
Adelia was startled by his sudden shout and reflexively got away from Willow. Huh, was she in the red again? Honestly, why was the jealousy value so uselessly high? She's his sister, for god's sake!
Raising her hands in a surrendering position, she decided to apologize since she very much liked the current position of her head. "Uh, I'm sorry. Did I disturb you? Should I, uh, just go?"
Yeah, Adelia got smarter. She knows who to annoy and who to not.
