"Would you wipe my memories?" Ava asked, she was presently tied in the king's chamber, with the King beside her.
"Why would I do that? And how do you know about that?" The king asked plainly. His head was filled with thoughts on how to get his doppelganger back.
"That's what the books I read always say. A…and I know your secrets…" Her voice weakened at the end. She wasn't sure if he would kill her or let her go, his secret was too heavy.
"Trust me, there's more to that. It's more than just a secret." He gazed intensively at her. His gaze held isolated words, words that weren't meant to be spoken.
"You will be spending the night here, I need to make sure the doppelganger doesn't kill you before morning." He sighed and took off his coat, causing her head to turn as she didn't want to look at his bare body.
