"You met her at Madame Joy? And she was a slut?" Lana Casaus asked, raising her eyebrows. She didn't believe what she had just heard and what Liliana looked like in her eyes. "I ... can't believe it."
Looking at Lana's response, Halley just shook his head. "No... she's not like that, Lana. She just stayed in that place for a few days, and last night was her first night as a whore, and she didn't even know that she would be rented as a sex doll. Joe is just trash, haha." Halley laughs a little, making Lana flusters again for a while. "No one touches her before, and sure no one uses her. So I'm going to be her first. I'm going to make her play for a long night after teaching her a bit."
Lana and Octo were no longer surprised about Halley's hidden obsession of always wanting to be the first about anything, including getting a woman's virginity.
"She's just sold?" asked Lana. "All of your stories make me think that girl was just sold by someone just like a movie script."
Halley looks at Lana for a while, and he slowly grins. "We used to know shit like that. A pretty young girl who was sold by her father or uncle or mother. I used to meet an innocent girl like Lily, but I think that she's different."
"Different?" Octo started into the conversation; maybe he was tired of just listening and keeping silent.
Halley glanced at Octo, and suddenly his smirk turned into something horrible with that kind of glance. Halley said, "She just... stupid." His words made Octo and Lana just shut up, with their eyes that didn't want to move from Halley. The guy just stood up and looked at the outdoor from the glass wall in that room. "I have met so many innocent girls who don't know that their close people just sell them, but Liliana... she doesn't even know what prostitute is, and doesn't know if there's such a thing in this world called human trafficking. Is that funny? I've never met such a dumb girl like her!"
Halley laughed again, remembering some things from Liliana that made him fluster but also tickle. Liliana was funny because she looked dumb without knowing anything about the outside world.
"So, who sold her? Who's the one that brings her to that place?" Octo asked his young master, but Halley was silent for a while before laughing again.
"Would you believe me if I say that she comes within' her own legs?"
Octo and Lana raised quickly. "She's blind, she covered her eyes all the time but she tried to 'escape' and come into the wrong place, just because she doesn't know anything about the world outside of her castle."
"Her castle? Is she a daughter of a rich family? A noble clan?" Asked Lana.
Halley rubbed his chin with a doubtful look. "I don't know. She won't to talks about where she comes from. I just think that she was a prisoner who finally can escape from the prison, and yeah, the one who lock her up wants to use her as Joe did to her."
Octo didn't want to say much about what Halley did. He knew what Halley's like. Even if it was meaningless, when it was Halley, Octo didn't wonder anymore. So therefore, he stayed silent, but Lana didn't think like that.
Lana knew that Halley was the kind of person who loved the party, fun, and excitement. But she just won't accept that Halley came with a girl and told every executive that the girl was his own. It seemed like wasting time, and Lana didn't want anything to waste her master's time, not even if it was just a dumb innocent girl who looked like a little stray bird!
"So, when will you throw her away?" Asked Lana without waiting, she walked from her seat to Halley. Hates showed clearly in her eyes, and Halley realized it.
"Why'd you ask me like that? I just told you not to call her like she's trash or something like that." Halley replied, making Lana frown.
"You fell in love?"
"Nonsense... why would I fall in love with that dummy?"
"But you look like you don't want to lose her."
Halley clammed up and looked at Lana confusingly. He rolled his eyes and sighed back to Lana and said, "Are you jealousy, Lady?" That question made Lana freeze, and she couldn't answer and let Halley move from her and back to his seat.
He sat down after taking a deep breath and looked at Lana with an annoyed gaze.
"Our big delivery just failed due to the carelessness of your stooges. I lost a lot of money, and you even can't count it. Do you think I'm okay?" Halley says, starting to complain and making Lana feel bad.
Lana stayed still without replying to Halley's words and explaining that she didn't mean to think like that. She just....
"I'm stressed. Do you think handling a big great group like ours is as simple as you shouting to your men?"
"I'm sorry, Raven, I didn't mean to—"
"I need something to reduce the stress, and then I met a new escape." Lana calmed up because of Halley's words, and she listened carefully. "I just found a new escape; I found my new toy, and imagine when you just found e new fun and someone told you to throw it away. Is it something good?"
"No... I'm sorry."
"If you feel sorry, just shut the f*ck up and stop telling me to throw her away!" Lana closed her mouth and suddenly got hard to swallow her saliva. She caught a glimpse of Halley's glare that showed how much Halley disliked what she had just done.
It was horrible and sore. Lana just wanted Halley to stop wasting his time with that girl, but Halley ignored her good intentions. She knew how Halley got angry well, so Lana didn't have another choice except to close her mouth.
Octo joined in after he had been silent and watching over. "What you want to do with that girl, Young Master?" He asked, making Halley look at him directly.
"Just watch what humor she wants to do with her zero awareness."
"Are you going to sell her after you get bored?"
"Maybe. But let's don't talk about it because I just get her, and I want to enjoy my time."
"What should I do?"
"Just... give her a good place to live and don't talk about us or about who I am. Get it?" Halley glanced at Octo and Lana alternately. Lana looked don't enjoy the conversation anymore, so she chose to leave. Halley didn't care about that and just said, "I don't know why so hard to make Lana and Noah respect my decisions. Feels like they're going to betray me someday."
"It's impossible, Young Master. I'm sure that they're trusted for you."
"I hope so, Octo."
Octo looked over his young master. Halley looked don't worry at all even if he just let a stranger come to his side. After thinking about it twice, Octo finally understands why Lana keeps asking Halley to throw that girl away because it was not a good thing to let outsiders get close to anyone of them. Octo remembers who they were, especially Halley.
Octo didn't want to make his young master angry, but he had to make sure. He had to make confident that his young master knew well about what he did, not just because he had gone with anger and got a new toy to entertain himself. It was not as simple as that because even though she was just an innocent girl by her looks, it didn't ensure that she was innocent inside.
The rivals will be done anything to get some information from the inside of Raven Hill, even if it means they should send a weak, innocent girl to be a spy.
"That girl looks beautiful," Octo said. Halley glanced at him after he lit the cigarette.
"You think so?"
"It looks clearly even by her little nose and lips, and with that light orange hair makes her looks like a fairy doll."
Halley smiled for a while. "I think it's just a wig, but after last night I know that her hair is real. Wow ...."
"And what about her eyes? Why does she cover her eyes?"
"As what you think about her, she's blind. And that's what she said to me about her eyes. She said her eyes had been covered for a long time."
"Who covered it?"
"People in her castle, maybe ...?" Halley sounded unsure, but he kept smiling like it was interesting.
Sure it makes Octo want to ask more. "Is she really a princess from nowhere?"
Halley looked at Octo, the old man looked curious, and it was funny. Halley laughed and answer, "I don't know. I told you. I don't know anything about her because she doesn't want to talk much about who is she. But she just like a girl on her escape."
"Maybe it is," Octo paused a little while; he looked at Halley before continuing to speak, "Or maybe there's someone who told her to act like that."
Suddenly, it changed Halley's expression. The guy looked uncomfortable and squits at Octo directly. "What do you mean?" He asked.
"I mean... however, she is just an outsider, and you must be careful. We don't know who she is actually and what's her aim—"
"She just a dumb girl who was almost misguided. What should I worry about her?"
Even though Halley looked sure about his mind, Octo kept trying to talk. "Young Master, we don't know about how our rivals try to get some information about our organization. Did you forget about what happened to Louis some time ago? He almost put a spy from the police into our organization."
Halley didn't care, just rolling his eyes and blowing the smoke. "It's because he's stupid as f*ck."
Octo just sighed, but he didn't want to stop talking yet. "You must watch out about her, Young Master. I don't care about what will happen with this organization, but you are my priority."
"Okay, thank you, Octo, thank you! I'll throw her away like what you and Lana want!" Halley made it simple; he didn't want to argue and tried to ignore it. "I'll throw her away as soon as I get bored. And if she's really a spy from nowhere, I'm the first one who'll ruin her until the bone. Okay?"
Octo feels relieved; he smiled a little and bowing bow his head. "Thank you for understanding me, Young Master."
Halley didn't reply, just enjoying his cigarette until he remembered something. A little thing that didn't become less critical than Octo's worries.
"How about my Incaendio? Do you get any information about it?"
Octo raised his head with stock-still. When his master started to talk about Incaendio, it will always be about a problematic duty that the whole Executives must do. It was about a famous name and the secret... about a hidden treasure that Halley had always wanted and looking for it since a long time ago.
"Have you got the information about my jewel?"
To Be Continued.
