The whole of Void Heaven city was lit up by intense light caused by the teleportation of various beings, in front of them stood the seven distinct individuals. The leaders of the various powers in the system, seem to have led their underlings to war against the Roc. The pressure generated by the multitudes of powerful individuals was staggering, and the planet seem to be struggling to contain the power present here.
In front of them stood the most beautiful ten-year-old ever seen by many, seemingly fragile in front of overwhelming force but those facing him didn't think so as they were all grim. They knew this was the one moment they have trained their whole life for.
"Hmm... Hundreds? I thought there'd be more!" Orion, the fragile ten-year-old muttered loud enough for everyone to hear as if it was beside their ears. This freaked out a lot of the underlings with weaker mental fortitude that they forcefully spiked their qi, this was a blow to their soul as some simply died.
This scene was reminiscent of using an insecticide on a mosquito cloud, a portion falling while most struggled to remain in the air and few standing strong.
The view was breathtaking and scary, over two hundred black spots just fell without protection from over a thousand meters, creating dust clouds and cementing their deaths. There was nigh a chance of any surviving.
This terrified everyone, including those watching, few heaven class experts with multiple Earth and Man class expert just died from a jump scare.
"CEASE YOUR WITCHCRAFT! YOU MURDERER!!!" Thanen shouted angrily, swinging his sword with his full force creating a massive tear in the atmosphere as it sped towards Orion. Orion just watched the attack without doing anything to defend himself from the attack.
The attack hit Orion but instead of drawing blood or launching him into the distance, destroying buildings and mountains, the attack just hit like a gust of wind brushing past. Orion himself doesn't seem to be observing the attack as his violet eyes seem to be scanning the environment scanning for something.
"That was witchcraft? Thanks for the information. So, what's your deal?" His voice sounds like it is coming from all directions converging towards Thanen, who made the attack, causing him to stagger. Orion, still not bothering to look at him as he seemed focused on searching for what eluded him.
This move from Orion caused the whole world to go still. Haleth, Garrion and Azusa as if already having discussed prior, brought out scrolls and activated them causing their surroundings to warp. The three region rulers of Panles decided immediately to flee.
Umbron gazed at them and then looked away, his gaze containing disdain within.
Countless saw their move and cursed, including the Ula'rees and the stream spectators throughout the system, but they noticed that the warp teleportation process was still going and the atmosphere wasn't the only thing warping. The bodies of the three leaders were warping, twisting in all different ways and their eyes clouded with pleading and despair. This continued for a few seconds and the three rulers simply vanished. No explosive death, no last stand death, but a humiliating and torturous kind. Some even felt pity for them as they witnessed the humiliation seem to have gone on for hours.
"Everyone here dies, the Ula'ree also ceases to exist. It's just that simple." Orion's voice was heard throughout the city as he pronounced their death a simple fact.
"HOW DARE YOU!!!" An extremely enraged voice echoed throughout the city, it was from the tower, Naj'aree was at the top of the tower glowering towards Orion but he simply didn't look at her. Realizing his mystery object still eludes him, his eye glowed dimly with disappointment.
Orion suddenly pulled at the chain he uses as a belt swinging it towards the Void Heaven Tower. The tip became extremely sharp piercing through the protective formation easily before anyone could register what was happening piercing the space beside Naj'aree with the tip coming from the other side stained in blood, dark blood, reeking of death.
The space warped, presenting Ardian Rave who was looking shocked was pulled forward with a jerk from Orion.
Sigh!!!
A sigh rang out as Umbron who had been silent all the while acted, wielding his sword towards the chain, creating no wave in the atmosphere as Thanen had before. Thanen and Araloth, the sea king, also used that opportunity to attack Orion.
A domineering sabre intent also moved towards the hands Orion was used to pulling at the chain, this was coming from Elatan, king divine tiger. All four rulers had chosen to rally after Umbron attacked Orion to make him suffer a bit. They all knew from the first attack by Thanen and the death of the regional rulers of panles, that this was way above their pay grade and they would need a miracle to survive. This mindset made them subconsciously turn towards Umbron, who they trust to be the strongest amongst them, to lead them.
This train of attacks, either those on his chain or those on him were rendered useless, not even able to shake him at all. These were all borderline saints attacking and no damage, not the slightest has been done. This situation put pressure on all watches.
"When I said 'hundreds?', I meant saints. I'm not here to play with all of you hiding." Orion stated impatiently as he pulled Ardian before himself.
The atmosphere suddenly became heavy as multiple silhouettes appeared with different forms and different pressure intensities.
The saint class is always said to be a transitionary realm, a transition to immortality. There are different levels to it depending on the amount of tribulation one endures before deciding to become immortal. Three is usually the limit for many people and techniques, those who could overcome this hurdle and endure their fourth tribulation usually become mid-grade immortals. Peak grade talent either immortals or celestials usually endure seven or eight tribulations as a saint, there are few mentions of a ninth tribulation saint in history.
"Courting death!" Naj'aree sneered at Orion, this guy is too full of himself, thinking he could handle a hundred saints without shedding blood.
Naj'aree was also scared inwardly, not bothering to look at the disgrace of her cousin who lay paralyzed on the floor by fear. She knew all bets are off now that the monster had shown that not even the tower could by time against his means.
Ardian in one hand, Orion slapped his other hand at his adversaries creating a strong shockwave spreading through their ranks, revealing those still in hiding and finally clearing the remaining mortals that remain in the vicinity. This includes the lackeys of the rulers who were already stepping back, pushing them tens of kilometres backwards while disabling them.
One of the saints that just appeared stepped forth, he had six arms, six eyes, a bulky build wearing and armour that covers most of his body, leaving only the slits for his eyes and parts necessary for mobility. About ten meters tall, he emanated a pressure that set him out of the group of saints, He is the leader of this group. He looks every bit impressive and with a sardonic grin he announced, "Your excellency is as impressive as the rumours indicate."
"If I was impressive in the rumours, none of you would dare come here," Orion replied without looking away from Ardian whose face was pale either from fear or loss of blood. Orion slowly moved his palm a few inches above Ardian's chest and sparks started gathering in the space between.
AAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRGH!!!
Everyone was mute watching as what could only be described as a mini storm gathered and pressed down on Ardian's chest. A chill went through the spine of everyone hearing the bloodcurdling scream coming from Ardian's mouth, no one moved forward, not even his king Thanen tried to help him. Everyone just watched as his chest began to melt until the scream coming from Ardian became inhuman... until he couldn't scream again... until he became nothing more than a dark drop of liquid that smells like a rotten corpse.
Orion kept the liquid and looked up at the saint, "You were saying?"
The saint felt blood fill his brain, but he remained calm in the face of Orion's query, "We just need your blood, Your Excellency!"
"We do not wish to offend the Roc family for something we could solve trivially." The hired swords were all grim by this point, Orion's little show of violence just seem to highlight how underpaid this job has been. The four remaining rulers seem to have taken a step back as they disappeared into the sea of saints.
"We do not wish to see unnecessary blood and killing." The leader of the mercenaries proclaimed with sincerity while tightening his grip on all six of his weapons. Finished with his proclamation, he waits for Orion to respond.
"Oh, Joy!" Orion exclaimed, and vanished from the sights of all the saints and immediately, they all went on alert but it was not enough as he appeared in a crowd of alert saints.
He was already spinning with his chain as a ballerina does with their ribbons, multiple saints were blown backwards with splurging blood being reduce to mist before the swirling attack, hiding Orion.
However, Orion does not want to be hidden, multiple mirages of him appeared behind several antagonists with his hands fetching their cores wherever in their body it was. Tens of saints found their lives snuffed from them with their cores picked and stored by Orion.
"ENOUGH!!!"
"RETREAT!!" The six-armed saint screamed while he attacked Orion with a punch powered by his law of mass to push Orion backwards to give them a chance to retreat. Orion being Orion moved forward punched the six-armed saint sending him flying backwards but giving the other saints enough time to retreat.
The six-armed saint stabilized himself after reeling for a few kilometres. *That was tough! Fellow Daoists if you do cooperate with us, we would all perish.* Looking at the second arm on his right hand which were crooked, he broadcasts his thoughts to the four rulers remaining.
*Our conditions remain unshakeable!!!* This was the reply he heard.
"FORMATIONS!!!" He screamed at the remaining saints to create the formation while he gazed warily at Orion trying to prevent him from disrupting the formation but contrary to what he expected, Orion just remains standing waiting for what they could bring out.
Orion was genuinely bored at this point, according to his reckoning his cultivation should be at the peak of the Mortal Realm or Class despite not following the traditional path. He'd been trying to check the most excellent mortal in the Void Heaven Reality but that had come shortly as the supreme talents were not too special.
Thousands of years he spent in his egg and at the edge of the universe trying to find his path and ten years spent in his dimension at Cloude city only to come out and find that beings in the six paths are too weak for him.
Did he expect too much from this universe?
Maybe the 'real deals' are only hidden from the public?
Orion waited as the saw multiple beings combine to form what seem to be an Asura and a Seraph.
Three heads, six arms wielding multiple weapons.
Heaven blotting wings and a halo behind the head.
The four rulers seem to be recuperating but Orion knew they were preparing their clutch card, their ace but he let them hoping they would threaten him.
The rest waved multiple talismans creating pressure in the space. A void-locking talisman?
"Your excellency should not have allowed our preparation to be completed." The six-armed saint said.
"Oh, Joy!" Orion muttered as both constructs launched their attacks at him together, as multiple projectiles in form of feathers blotted his front and multiple bludgeoning weapons came from behind.
Orion chose not to dodge them, trying to get a grip on his limits.
BANG!!
BANG!!
BANG!!
Orion was launched into the mountains, but there still was no blood.
