Chereads / THE LAST HORRATIO / Chapter 11 - [6] b

Chapter 11 - [6] b

The goal is Gala can continue there even though this young man doesn't seem too concerned with Metro problems. His life alone is inversely proportional to Xavier's. The Master is valiant. No one dared to underestimate him. Once he pulled out a weapon, all his opponents bowed. Even if some fight, Xavier is sure to lose. True fighter. As soon as Dice gave his Master a nickname.

It didn't take long for Gala to finish his meal. He felt his stomach almost explode. Everything Dice serves delicious. Is it because he has no comparison? So you can say that Dice's food is delicious? Who knows. Most importantly, tonight, he wasn't hungry. He had tidied the food stock from Mr. Jian earlier in the refrigerator, which he still couldn't believe if the contents were entire and tempting.

"What did you eat, Dice? I see you're not eating." Gala picks up the apple slices.

"All the food I eat later will just litter the floor."

Gala choked. "So you're transparent?"

"Right. But I can hold solid objects. Like when I was cooking earlier. Didn't Master see it?"

Reminded of the incident earlier, Gala was embarrassed too. "Then what do you eat every day?"

"In the dice, I charge energy."

"Electricity?"

Dice shook his head. "Sun."

Gala didn't understand what Dice meant and just gave the hologram girl a stupid look. "Can I touch you?"

"Can. Only the owner of Dice can do that. If the owner allows other people to know me, only then can I be touched."

Gala is very curious about this. "Will I be electrocuted later?"

Dice laughed stiffly. "Not. Go ahead if you want to touch me." He stood up. Approach yourself with a slight bow. After all, this awkward young man in front of him was his Master—the owner.

Slowly, Gala's hand moved closer to Dice's outstretched hand. Afraid, actually, but he was curious too. But every time Dice does work, like a human who can touch many things and objects around him. When the surface of his hand felt Dice, an extraordinary sensation ran through all his limbs.

The orange glow ran down his hand, but Gala didn't focus on it. A vast expanse of land with various colorful flowers greeted him in the shadow of his eyes. His hand felt like someone was holding it. Very close. He could feel the warmth there. Also ... the figure of the woman who this morning became the subject of conversation. His mother.

Immediately he lost touch with Dice. The orange light slowly disappeared. Gala's chest was pounding hard. His eyes flashed in confusion. "What was that?" softly.

"Future."

Gala turned her head and thought Dice didn't hear him. "What?"

"The future, sir," repeated Dice confidently. "That's your future."

"How did you know?"

"This piece of information about the future can be obtained with advanced technology. Many of the residents across the Metro are already able to access this but most of them, end up in mental hospitals. The shadow of a beautiful future can also affect what Master looks like earlier. Master's heart is still not bothered by such false shadows."

Gala still can't digest.

"That is the true shadow of your future, sir."

"Impossible." Gala chuckled again. He grabbed the glass of water that was on the table. Drink it greedily. The remaining water stuck to his lips, and he wiped it using the back of his hand—no need to use a tissue. "You said my mother was in Metro-North. But that shadow?"

Dice smiled stiffly. Back sitting right in front of the Gala. "You can free him if you want."

"What?"

"You have the power to free him?"

"You are crazy?"

"Not. Why am I crazy? What I'm saying is earnest. You can free Mrs. Bellamie."

After Dice said that, no one else spoke. While Dice faithfully waited, Gala was lost in her thoughts because that's how it was created. They were waiting for orders, helping, making sure that the owner was okay, and starting to make plans to achieve his goals.

Destroy the Metro.

"You said Xavier created you."

"Right."

"Do you know my mother?"

Dice tilted his head. "It means?"

"Know? You know?" Gala refreshes her thick hair. "My mother can see your figure?"

"Not. Mrs. Bellamie was never introduced to me by Mr. Xavier. I was only given the task of looking after him while Mr Xavier was not around."

"Take care of it?"

"Right. Look after Mrs. Bellamie in case she does or gets into trouble."

Gala froze as a flash of thought crossed her. "If you can protect my mother, why did you let my mother go to Metro North? Isn't it dangerous there?"

"Has Master Gala understood? I'm just following the last orders from Mr Xavier. Find his son and all ownership and power of Dice rests with his successor."

The young man was silent.

"The night Mr Xavier lost a major battle, it was then that he gave his final message. Then threw me as far as possible until I was stranded somewhere. My range to keep an eye on Mrs. Bellamie was limited. I can no longer carry out orders to look after Mrs. Bellamie."

Dice looked at Gala intently.

"It took me a long time to get back within reach of your surroundings, Mr Gala. Sorry if I came late."

This morning Gala woke up with a headache. The alarm clock was deafening as if it could rip his eardrums. Gala hastily woke up feeling like an earthquake had hit her. Everything swayed slowly. I made him sit back on the edge of the bed. Gently massaging his temples was something he usually did, but he quickly remembered that if the loud alarm had sounded, it would be a sign that he was almost late.

He hurriedly stepped, and as usual, he fell again because his feet were still caught in the blanket. His head hit the edge of the cupboard. Her legs were slightly raised because of the blanket wrapped around her.

"Unlucky!"

"Sir? Are you okay?"

Gala looked up. Dice was in the doorway. This time the light was no longer blue but bright yellow.

"Did your color change?"

"Yes. Everyday. It depends on the mood."

"Heart?" Gala quickly got rid of her damn blanket. The bed was like a broken ship, but he didn't care. There was something more he needed to hurry now. Time of arrival to the restaurant. "Jerk!" even more.

"Are you working today too?"

Gala got rid of Dice immediately. The girl turned out to be like an ordinary girl. Like humans. He could touch but in his eyes only like a shadow. This is an extraordinary tool. Said to be a robot, Dice refused. He said he still has feelings, although limited. He could feel sad and happy except for a few surfaces that its previous creator might negate. Gala doesn't know.

"Sir?" The dice were confirmed once again. Today is Saturday. Usually, workers are off on this day as well as the Gala. This was the third week in a calendar month, and as far as Dice was concerned, today was his day off.

"Yeah, I worked until lunch was over. After that, I was at Mr. Richard," Gala shouted from the bathroom. He stopped brushing his teeth immediately. Why did he seem to be telling someone about his plan for today? Who is this Dice?

Just his father's advanced tool, right?
