Although Kiara was startled by the presence of Alpha Frederick, she quickly composed herself and came up with an excuse.
"Oh, that! I was just chatting with Bella that I would be going over for some drinks tonight. She had missed me too much and…am very bored. You are going on a mission again tonight so I will be left alone" Kiara said, wrapping her hands around his neck.
"Yeah. Sure, I won't be home. You do need to go out more. You know Rowland is a big man now so he can cater for himself. You can go out" Alpha Frederick said, touching her face.
Somehow he feels he has been neglecting her lately. He would try and make it up with her as soon as the mating ceremony was over.
"Yes sweetie, I intend to even though I will miss you so much. Why don't we find a way to be together this weekend? I am sure you have nothing planned" Kiara said as she drew closer to Alpha Frederick.
