Inside a coffee shop on a busy street of the Silver Circle Pack, people moved in and out. It was one of the biggest coffee shops in the Pack. Their coffee was one of the best. This place was an ideal place to release stress.
A bulky grumpy man made his way through the transparent glass door as a blanket of warm air hit him and the rich aroma of coffee which was delectable.
The noise the customers made was immense but the man ignored the noise and made his way to the coffee bar.
A barista stood before him and welcomed the grumpy man with a charming smile. The man did not respond but his gaze traveled to an elegant-looking woman who was sipping a cup of Americano.
She had wavy platinum blond hair that flowed down her neck. Her eyes were blue but looked vicious. There was an aura of ruthlessness yet an elegant demeanor around her.
He walked briskly to the woman and sat across her while she pretended not to feel his presence.
"Kiara, this wasn't our deal. You were supposed to pay me five million bucks. Why did you send two million bucks instead? ", The man asked the gorgeous woman.
"Asking me questions now, are you?"
"I don't understand the payment!" The man said in a suppressed anger.
The gorgeous woman was looking unperturbed as she kept sipping the cup of coffee leisurely. She was putting on an elegant knee-length skirt and tailored button-down shirt from high-quality silk.
She looked like an elegant woman with a spice of sexiness wrapped around her as the clothing was made to fit her. The clothing brought out her perfectly shaped hips and boobs.
She was upset as she looked out the window watching the vehicles moving in a hurry.
But Kiara wasn't in a hurry to answer the man sitting across from her. How dare he ask for balance? It was obvious the man knew his boundaries as he waited angrily but patiently for the woman's reply.
After about five minutes of silence, Kiara looked up at the man and snorted.
"Mr. Kenton, I hope you don't have a case of short-term memory? Or do you?", Kiara asked looking down at the man who felt a chill down his spine.
This woman was the epitome of evil. He would never dare go against her but a deal is a deal, she was supposed to fulfill her end of the bargain.
"I…Kiara. A deal…is a deal. That's how it had always been between us", Kenton replied with a sly smile.
"A deal is indeed a deal but did you fulfill your end of the deal?", Kiara asked him with a raised brow.
"I…Kiara, you should know that it's not my fault! The woman was too powerful and obviously, It seems the child was lucky too", He insisted, looking away from the woman's piercing gaze.
"You assured me of the success of the deal. It was meant to be both, not one. I promised to pay if the deal was smooth. Have you forgotten?", Kiara said as anger lit up in her eyes.
That woman always makes her blood boil but thankfully she was dead. She would take everything that belongs to that woman. And that child…he will regret coming into the world.
"The accident was supposed to claim their lives. That woman and child were supposed to be dead. She even drank the poisoned water for days!", Kenton said.
"And so what? She drank the water and got hit twice and yet still kept the child alive! It was meant to kill both! But it didn't, did it? It only claimed one, not two. I don't want hindrances! That child is a hindrance!"
"How do you expect the plan to work with a child, a son! And you have the guts to come ask for payment. Am I too lenient or what?"
"The deal says kill her with the child in her womb. It didn't say allow the child to come out alive!", Kiara said gritting in anger.
"Kia…", the man tried to explain but he was cut off.
"It's Miss Kiara!"
"Miss Kiara. I swear that we did everything as you told us. But it seems there is a force that stops all the plan"
"Shut the fuck up! I wonder how you were bold enough to demand extra charges. You know what I am capable of, right?", Kiara threatened as she cut him off.
"Kiara…it's…", the man was sweating.
"Get lost before I change my mind. I hate worthless people!", Kiara said calmly with a hint of anger.
The man stood up grumpily but still left without saying another word. No one messes with Kiara. This he was sure of but it wasn't his fault if Luna gave birth to her child before dying.
Kiara looked across the street through the floor-to-ceiling glass window. It doesn't matter if the child is alive or not, she will still be Luna. She took a deep breath before dialing a number.
She knew he must need her now and she won't disappoint. She would gear his emotions to herself. She had planned this for months now and her plan would never fail her again!
That had always been her motive ever since getting together with Alpha Frederick Brown. Kiara wanted to be a Luna. She wanted to be held in reverence, not scorn!
She hated to be called a mistress! She would claim that position no matter how long! If only that child had just died alongside the mother!
"Anna, you are still as greedy as ever! Why don't you just die with that bastard in your womb? Do you think I can't harm him?" Kiara muttered under her breath as her eyes were filled with disgust.
Kiara hates the child already but she would have to suspend that feeling temporarily. She needs him to make her new plan work.
No matter the obstacles, Anna, I will take your position. She got up from her chair and left the Cafe unhurriedly.
"Sweetheart, where are you?", Kiara said sweetly immediately after the call was connected.
