Hera placed down her third cup of coffee and sighed audibly. Who was she kidding? She was just wasting her time here, it was obvious that Hephaestus was in no way interested in speaking to her. She might as well leave, there was no pointing sitting here in this humiliating situation.
When the goddess got up to leave, she turned around and found her son, Hephaestus, standing behind her. His eyes were fixated on her and his arms crossed over his chest.
A small smile tugged Hera's lips, until her eyes trailed down his body to his legs. Looking at the blade prosthetics replacing his limbs, Hera was instantly filled with guilt.
"Hephaestus-"
"Why are you here?" The god interrupted the woman. "What makes you think you can just walk into my home whenever you please."
