Looking back, There is nothing much that has changed in years.
When I was depressed, I was just expressionless and zoned out in some deep thoughts that didn't even matter much to me. People passing by had no idea that I was grieving from depression as I was a cheerful girl in class and at home.
Whenever I failed to perform well in a random test, I cried continuously for hours and locked myself in a room.
Maybe you should have a question for me how was I able to get out of my depression?
MUSIC heals everything.
It was the same for me too. I had to take a lot and had no shoulder to vent on. The power of music is what I loved the most. Plug the earphones and forget the world. Comparison is another cause of depression for most people around the world, and me being one of them. Parents and relatives compare their children with others and are clueless about their child's mental health. I faced that kind of situation a lot of times cause I had a cousin of the same age. Regardless, these were not the primary reasons for my depression. Girls of my age group were having a great time with their friends, and I was left alone in a four-sided wall room. "Well, everything will be just fine," I thought.
I know that we all don't have the same circumstances in our lives. We cannot even imagine putting ourselves in someone else's shoes. Hence, let us not blame others for any kind of decision they make. Instead, let's support them in the path they chose.
WHAT WAS YOUR REASON AND STORY FOR DEPRESSION?
