Without knowing, Alex and Meg's big day came around the corner. Same as Ben, Alex opts for a private family affair at his grandparent's home.
"Alex, can you please stop pacing left and right,"
"What if she says no," said Alex looking at Ben.
"Oh gosh, did you watch that stupid drama last night?"
"Hmm.."
"She will be there and she won't ditch you. Didn't she endure you all these years,"
"Uncle Alliiii" came in with Jonathan's little son with him.
"Hi, little man you look handsome too," said Alex tickling the little one.
"Are you ready?" asked Jonathan putting a flower in Alex's suit pocket. "It's time,"
With that, they went to the garden area where the ceremony is held. With everyone close to them waiting for the couple's happy union. At the same time, Meg the bride came down with Sarah and Jonatha's wife as bride maids.
All three of them looked so beautiful and the natural blush on their faces glowed with happiness for their friend's big day. While the bride and groom stood in the center, Jonathan and his wife on one side while Sarah and I stood on the other side of the couple.
"You know you remind me of our wedding day," I whispered into her ear while holding her by the waist close to me.
"Well this is a similar dress with a slight color change," she said back softly.
"Yes, I know,"
I saw Alex and Meg looking at me especially Alex with a mischievous look dancing in his eye.
The ceremony was over and everyone gathered to celebrate the newlyweds. The small reception party went on till the evening. Everyone was so happy and the day went without any media or paparazzi making trouble.
Alex and Meg had decided not to go on a honeymoon but spend a few days in their new home next to Ben and Alex's parents. Because of this, no one got to know that he got married the same as Ben.
"Oh, Ben,"
"Uncle Holland,"
"So you both keeping your marriage and your wife's a secret?"
"Hmm.. well for now at least,"
"But sooner or later they will catch up and expose,"
"So what do you suggest?"
"You two need to be the first to do it, not the media,"
"Give me two months, uncle,"
"Ok,"
As I and Sarah had a lot of work on the day of the wedding, we slept till a bit late the next day.
"BENNYYYYYY!!!!"
That was what woke me up and looked at Sarah, who was still in deep sleep. So I tucked a pillow next to her and went to the pantry. To see Meg and Alex making breakfast.
"What on earth are you two doing here, without letting us sleep in?" I asked almost half asleep.
"We missed you two," said Alex.
"Well news flash guys, we helped your grandpa and grandma to clean up after the events, and got back home about three hours ago," I said.
"Ok grumpy boy, you go and cuddle with your wife. We just came to make you guys breakfast and lunch and spend the evening relaxing here,"
"Hmmm.. Ben, go ahead and have some sleep, we'll do all this and wake you up at lunchtime," said Meg almost hitting Alex for waking me up.
When I went back I saw Sarah sitting up on the bed still in a daze.
"Sweety, come on, let's go back to sleep," I said hugging her close to me.
"But.. the noise,"
"It's just those two making food for us and wanting to spend time with us,"
"Hmm..."
Then again when I looked at her she was fast asleep.
I thought of what I promised uncle Holland. Will I be able to accomplish what I promised and let the world know that this sleeping beauty next to me is my wife, without any worries and harm to her life?
I really need to talk with Alex and get our plans together. As for Liam, I feel sorry for him. He was in this whole mess because of his notorious grandfather, who never acknowledged his own mistakes.
But because of this cruel plan many families were affected, in a bad way.
I sent a message to Markus to find out the cousin of Liam, the Maverick. But from what Liam said, it's going to be pretty hard to find information about him and the gang. The only thing we know is that he is notorious and not merciful.
The weekend went quickly and a Monday was here. I went to the office with Sarah and there were some final design decisions to be made. I also had her personal office space next to mine combined together. So I can keep an eye on her.
"Sir," said the head of security coming in with a gloomy face.
"Yes"
"The reporters are flocking in front of the entrance,"
"Do you know why?"
"Hmm... "
"What is it?" at the same time Alex called.
"Ben get a press conference ready"
"Why what's up?"
"Uncle Holland called me and said someone has leaked info about the wedding,"
"Who could it be?"
"Well I don't care, and I told you about this Meg. She has no worries. But I will keep her identity out of media,"
"Ok, we'll announce it together, as we planned," I said agreeing to him as well as giving orders to arrange the press conference.
After acknowledging Sarah about this, I went down accompanying Alex who arrived at the office right now.
At the press conference,
"Mr.Alex, is it true you got married?"
"Well, yes. If I am being honest for the past ten years I had dedicated myself to only one person, who is my wife now,"
As predicted everyone was in shock, as many thought that Alex was a type of a one-night stand guy. And we made it a point not to let anyone find out who we date, so they didn't have any clue.
"What about Ms.Lorenzo?"
We both laughed at it. Ms.Lorenzo is Alex's cousin who had known Meg and Sarah. She adores them and is ready to do anything on behalf of their safety. She is a CIA trainee with a promising career.
"Well," Alex said with a smile on his face "I am sorry for not making things straight. Ms.Lorenzo is my dear little cousin,"
"You mean, you were not dating?"
"How could I when I have known my loving sister-in-law for many years," we looked at the voice, I mean everyone.
There she was in her uniform and with her captain in charge. He said,
"Hi boys, I heard about the commotion here so I thought of giving a hand," he said with a smile that we gave him a thankful nod.
"So who is your newly wedded wife?"
"I am sorry, this is not the right time and place to reveal the details. as well as I follow suit my best friend Ben,"
"Thank you, everyone" I finished off and rushed out to our office with Ms.Lorenzo's Captain.
"Where is that CIA girl?" asked Alex.
"She went to see Sarah I think," said the Captain, who was actually here to meet me at my request.
