Chapter 39 - Wedding shopping or disaster

As planned the two couples met and went wedding cloth shopping. Ben had his all-day reserved for this as he knew how Alex is with shopping.

Meg had always visioned the dress she will wear on her wedding day and the dress Sarah will have too. And she had specifically gone to this store because they had what she wanted. For her, she got a strapless sweetheart neckline dress, with dainty details and a slight puff ball gown. This dress had a bit of dainty work with a blush pink brushwork that only shows when she moved.

For Sarah, she had selected a little puff-sleeved dress with a square neckline bodice and a flowing floor-length skirt dress in champagne color with a slight gold rose embroidered. While they were putting on the dresses Meg sent a message to Ben to come to their side.

As they entered the suit, Ben was there waiting with Alex. Their look was priceless. In reality, Sarah looked like a fairy from a storybook, while Meg looked like a princess from Nowhere land.

"OH MY!!" was the only thing that escaped from Alex who looked at his two favorite girls.

"Did the cat get your tongue, Nutmeg?" asked Meg teasing Alex.

"Well I mean..." he looked blushed and looked at Ben nudging him to speak on his behalf.

Ben on the other hand silently admired his girl, went to Sarah, and hugged her tight with a kiss on her forehead. This little act was admired by everyone in the shop as well as the guests that was around.

"AHmmm... Ben" was all Alex said.

"Well you both look really beautiful, but I admit Sarah is a fairy. As usual, your selection is the best one Meg," said Ben giving an admiring look at her.

"OHHH thank you, Ben. I saw this dress a few months back really wanted to get this for her. And I knew you'd love to see her in it,"

After a while of admiring the dresses, Sarah helped Ben to select a black tuxedo suit with a slight gold embellishment to match her dress.

"Don't they look beautiful together,"

"Could she be his mysterious wife?"

"Well if they were I will never want them to be apart."

"It's so sad none knows about them. If they do, they would have been a model couple,"

Statements like these were heard and before they entered the store, they had signed NDA's so they were prohibited from sharing the news with anyone.

The hardest part of the process was finding the right suit for Alex. While Alex is a real picky [person, they had to consider the smallest details on a suit. Yes they have spent almost three hours on a suit.

"Hi, Nutmeg, can you please select one?" asked Meg.

"Wait I have to find the perfect one, or I will be out of place,"

"You know, normally a girl would spend this amount of time selecting a dress,"

"Well Meg, he is like this all the time," said Ben looking around to find Sarah, who went missing a few minutes ago.

"Alex did you see Sarah?" asked Ben.

"Hmm, I saw her near the coats a few minutes ago. She must be trying to surprise you so chill," was all Alex said to make matters harder on the salespeople.

After a while, Sarah came back with something in her hand.

"Alex, where the matching tuxedo as Ben," was all she said.

As Alex listened to her and got dressed. Sarah went to him and pinned a broach that looked like a rose in rose gold that matches the dress on the Meg.

"Sarah, where on earth did you find it?" asked Meg, admiring the look on Alex's face.

Well for a fashionista he was happy and felt complete at last.

"Thank you, Little Bud. Now, this looks perfect," was all he said just roughing up her hair.

"Ms. Sarah went with me to the inner room where we keep things, that are not with the trend, and she suddenly found this," said the salesperson who went with her.

We took some photos and sent them to our parents for their approval. And they loved the dresses that Meg had chosen.

"Richard uncle, if it wasn't for Sarah, we would have been stationed in the shop to eternity," I said laughing.

"Why is that son?" asked Alex's dad.

"oh my, father, he takes forever to select something, and luckily she found this sweet brooch, that saved the day," said Meg, imitating hitting Alex.

"Well my dears you all look so beautiful, I am proud of you four," was all our mothers said even though with different meanings.

After all this, Meg complained, "hi, I am starving, let's go and grab some lunch,"

"I have booked a table by the beach, so let's head there and Markus you and your team too," said Alex, who loves to treat them to celebrate every small accomplishment in his life in a big way.
