Ethan Todd stood in the empty street and watched the mansion from afar. It felt almost incredible to know that just a few hours ago, he'd been lying inside the master bedroom in the mansion beside one of the most gorgeous women in the city. He was in a euphoric mood this evening. It almost felt like an achievement.
The honking of some cars behind him caused him to jerk slightly. He looked behind at once and found a convoy approaching his way. Ethan knew it was time to hide. Tonight, he was going to be invisible, like an undercover detective.
In a flash, he threw himself into the nearby bush and hid behind the tall trees. The cars passed swiftly, not noticing a thing. Ethan watched from the shadows, making sure that he could pick whatever his eyes saw. But there was not much to see anyways.
He felt his phone buzzing in his pockets and he reached out to it at once, bringing it out. His countenance changed as he looked at the caller ID. This was not good.
