Detective Vance Miller and Rachel Cooper followed the doctor through a long wide corridor that led into a large paneled hallway that smelled of nothing but drugs and disinfectants.
He kept chattering along the way, a behavior to which Detective Vance Miller paid very little attention to. Detective Rachel Cooper did most of the talking.
"I wonder if the police know that it is considered a very grave offense for police officers to storm into a hospital like this and desecrate it with their presence," He was saying. "I have always thought America is too liberal, even in the modern world."
Detective Cooper tried to place his accent. Middle Eastern perhaps.
But Dr. Edmund Welsh was not done talking. "This is wrong on so many levels and since you won't speak with me about it, well, I have to content myself with hearing about it later from Lisa's mouth."
