Time stopped and for a moment, so did my breathing. Ash ran over to his brother's side, holding him in his arms, as he bled onto his shirt. I tried to move, but it was like my feet were stuck to the floor, as I stared blankly at the heartbreaking scene unfolding before me. The blood didn't seem real, even when it seeped from his shirt and trickled down to the floor.
It's not his.
It can't be his.
I can't lose him too. Everyone, but him. If I lose him, I might have as well lost myself too, because every breath that I take, I owe it all to him. He has always been my guardian angel and I never even got to admit that to him. I never told him that he is the reason why I didn't give up on life. He didn't have the support himself, but he always made sure I never felt alone. All those sleepless nights in his house when we were horsing around, pretending to shoot each other with water guns flashed in my mind.
We were happy.
