It had been a while since anyone saw the alpha, maybe a day or two? Krux, Garon, and Justin were anxiously nervous, pacing the office. All three had creed surrounded in the leather chair. Numbly she sat there, sighing, annoyed that of all places and people, she had to be babysat by one person who lately seemed to hate her more and more.
" Any idea where he is a creed.Kuja or Drake..?" Several times Justin asked me this question, and almost casually, I answered each time. " I don't, guys...I haven't been around drake for a few days, so no.." As my words fell from my lips, I could see a smile grow steady on Kruxs lips. He was all too happy about the way things had gone.
" He has to have something to do with this.." Garon wasn't quick to assume, but usually, he was right on topic and que. About the time he had finished speaking, a pack member came barreling through the door " They found the alpha!" panic was sought across her face as she hit the floor, falling from the door. Everyone but myself jumped up. I was excited, but what good would it have done to get up and only reinjure myself. " Where is he..?" I asked, getting slowly to my feet. " They're taking him to the pack, Dr.; He's in a medically induced coma from all the wolfsbane..." The mention of the word caused an eruption of growl From all 4 of us. Wolfsbane was to us as arsenic was to regular humans. Position, and pretty much almost instant death. The thought that someone had even had wolfsbane was wrong, but to use it on my brother?... Now that was just wrong..he was the alpha.
" Can You take us to him..?" Garon spoke up quickly with anticipation, I hadn't seen him this happy to see my brother except when Kuja left me under the eyes of Justin and Garon for a week, and I did nothing but terrorize them with nerf guns and screech like a mad crow every time they tried to relax. I had the boys on edge.." Sure, but I Don't think Adrian will allow too many visitors until He's awake.." The pack member turned on her heels and swiftly left the doorway where she was once standing. Garon, Justin, and Krux all gazed at each other, then at me, And suddenly, I felt something horrible was about to go down.
" Creed, If Drake has something to do with this.. he's dead. You do realize that, right..?" The thought of drake being dead struck a heavy nerve within me, and my wolf howled angrily. She couldn't bear the thought of her mate being bloody and lifeless. But another part of me wanted the same; if he had brought this on my brother, I wished him certain death, family, before mate is what I choose, and it should've never gone any other way.
" Yeah, I know..." Limping carefully, Garon and Justin aided my side with their shoulders, letting me loop my arms around them, making walking quicker. Krux was behind, watching the others with his noticeable dark grey eyes; his attitude was giving me whiplash. I knew I was supposed to be his mate, but could he have such a vendetta towards Drake after all? " Eventually, He'll die anyway...He's not good enough to be a wolf. Let alone a mate to anyone In our pack.." Krux spoke undertone, yet loud enough that he knew I'd hear him. " You think you're worthy to be a mate to anyone, let alone be a wolf as well, seeing how you treat people?" I shot back, hoping it struck one of his nerves so hard it made his brain rattle. And it had done just that. In a quick jerk, I felt Garon and Justin become evasive of my grip. Looking up, I met the face of a beaming mad and steaming angry Krux. " Maybe if you had taken the hint not so long ago, I wouldn't be treating you so horribly! Ever thought of that?!" He spat as he spoke, which was scary to be the unlikely target. " Maybe if you had said something, I wouldn't have steered clear; ever thought of that?! For most of my life,e you did nothing but hate on me, be rude and cruel and malicious towards me, making me feel like dirt like I was worth a life to protect as my brother sought to do. And now all of a sudden you have interest cause I am with someone?! You Waited too long to speak up!" I screamed into his face, and suddenly I felt horrid, watching his face go from red to pale. I had hit a nerve, and it seemed to be a sickening nerve. He sat down on his ass onto the floor, holding his face tightly. " If I had said anything. Your brother would've killed me, but as it stands, He wants to kill anyone who even looks at you..so what matters anyway. Besides, you said yourself. You didn't like me!" He stood again, and shoved his hands into his pockets, hurt seemed evident on his face as he stood there. In my boiling sadness, I turned and began walking without Justin and Garon as my aides. " Maybe next time you feel some connection with someone. You should stand and take what was rightfully yours, to begin with, instead of stepping back and letting someone else steal the light.." And once more, I began to walk, and before I could even blink, Krux had me by my arms, his dark grey eyes bore into mine, and as quick as he had grabbed me, He planted a deep and soft kiss on my lips. Justin and Garon both stood in shock, quiet the whole time. This was an utter shock to all of us, even Krux. " Woohoo!! I knew he had it in him!" Garon was the first to break the silence causing Krux to back away quickly" I May be a brute; still, I felt those sparks the first time..and I most certainly thought them again..Creed..You're mine..and that's set in stone.." after such shock, I managed to pull myself out of his arms, blinking what felt like a hundred times per minute. My brain was rattled. Drake.Kuja.Krux..with all this going on, I had to be caught in the god-forsaken middle." Right now, I don't care who I belong to..I want to see my brother. any more interruptions and ill be the one issuing death warrants.." with that said I had left the 3 in a limping haze, onwards to my brother. Time to see how much damage has been done...
