Days had passed, and Kuja was still in intensive care, but he was awake and sitting upright in his bed at the medic's house. Still under the careful eye of Adrian. Creed had long gone after breakfast that next morning, Waking up the three baboons cooped up outside on Adrian's porch sleeping the day away. Days, But it felt like years to Creed and the pack house. They were waiting for news on whether or not Drake was found and about the Alpha and his healing. What felt like forever to The Pack was only days. Time passed slowly. And it was agonizing to the whole Family of Wolves. Plans were being made to up their security, While Creed and Garon Attempted to reach out further outside their territory to other Packs to see if anyone had seen, heard, or knew of A Drake, and actions were taken against the Blood Moon pack. To defeated consciousness, No one had, But they had allied with two neighboring packs in case another attack was made against the Alpha. Most didn't understand that attacking an alpha was immediate Execution or banishment from a pack. They would be rejected and denied permission to be accepted into any other pack and would be hunted if they ever got away from their punishment. Drake had a tombstone hanging over his head. " Gaarrroooonn.." The sweet hum of Creed's voice echoed down the main hall of the pack house as Creed wandered, looking for the only one of the three who had any brains or sense. " Come out wherever you are! I need your help!" She cried almost childishly. With their Alpha in care, It was up to her and his friends to keep the pack running, and given Creed had never taken charge of anything in her life, it was out of her ballpark to do it alone, even just winging it." In Your brother's office! " His voice was quiet, but her ears picked it up; he wasn't far, Only two doors down. "What's up, buttercup?" Garon was nose down into a pile of paperwork on Kuja's desk, rifling through it, searching for anything about security laws, territory boundaries, rules, or laws set for incoming and outgoing newfound, but he found nothing. It was as if it never existed unless He had them locked away for safety measures." We need to rearrange border patrols. No more one person patrols until Drake is found, But we have no proper training done; we need to get this taken care of. I know Kuja is Alpha, but now is the time to partake fully into the pack?" She stood almost hovering over the end of Kujas's desk after she made her way in, eying the shelving around the room, the corner reading chair, and the filing cabinets along the walls. Kuja spent years as Alpha, and it still made her angry to know he hid it from her, but that was the past. She had other priorities to take care of." We will tonight, and I'll call a meeting and assign pack members to trainers and start training shifts; in the meantime, while Kuja heals, I, Justin, Krux, and a few of the Border Guards will take shifts walking the perimeters at Dawn and dusk to ensure. We may look weak and tiny, but we have had proper training; it was pretty much beaten into us at young ages and well into our teenage years by Adrian. He took most of us in since half the pack members here were cast-outs from families and schools. We will get it taken care of. You need to focus on Drake. Learn as much as you can about him, But do not..and I repeat. Please DO NOT leave this territory without someone with you or let us know. Anything happens to you, and Kuja will come from his deathbed after us, and I can't take any more stress with what's going on right now." It was clear on his face that Garon was profound; his fists were balled on the desk as if gripping for life when he spoke his one demand. Never had Creed seen him this way before, and it baffled her. Garon was usually the quiet one, hidden in the back, watching from the side, only intervening if something happened. Creed only nodded. Like that, she had left Kuja's office, leaving Garon buried in paperwork to find Justin and Krux. There is no telling where those two would be by now, given the state of the pack and Kuja.
Stuffing faces and belligerent laughter seemed to be all those two could be doing at a time like this; Creed had found them after she made it back to the pack house, huddled up in the kitchen devouring Struddels and drinking punch made by the kitchen staffing. Joking about how they looked with fat cheeks and red mustaches seemed to make them feel better. Creed quietly made her way to the kitchen doorway, watching the door carelessly smear food across their faces as they ate. She wondered how long it would take before they even noticed she was there." Dude..they should put like grape or something inside these. They would be better than this weird..cream." Krux was well into the Struddle before entirely stopping; his eyes dilated quickly, nose almost stuck in the air. He caught her scent, and within his wolf could be heard howling. In the instance of the smell, his eyes turned, and he saw her, leaning into the doorway, a cheeky smile resting on her lips." You two know how to chow down, don't you?" He watched her push from the doorway, almost slapping Justin in the face, nearly making him smash a straddle into his chin." We were hungry, don't judge us. The Pack members who cook do a good job." Justin beamed with a mouthful of powdery bread. Krux had dropped his almost immediately and quickly rubbed his face into his shirt, uncaring of the mess it left behind." So what's going on...Anything new?"
Krux had turned his back by now against the counter where he stood, arms crossing over his chest. He tried to remain collected. " Nothing yet; Kuja is healing slowly, so he's still at Adrian's, and Garon is in his office looking at the paperwork. We have decided to get a plan together to train different members for defense in case Drake or anyone else comes back for another inside attack. Garon has volunteered you three for patrols at Dawn and dusk. MIght want to get some sleep. The first patrol is in 4 hours. Sleep up, boys.." She mused before disappearing from the doorway, almost high stepping on her feet."You couldn't warn me that she was there?" Justin had elbowed Krux right in his side, earning himself a sharp glare out of the corners of Krux's eyes. He watched Creed vanish and quickly felt acute pain enter his chest." I wish she could recognize my wolf already. This hurts.." Krux dusted off his shirt when he finished talking, glancing over at Justin this time." Dude, you are a mess...Go clean up. We got patrol. I can't argue with her or Garon. They won't give up." Justin nodded, wiping his face quickly and washing down the rest of his struddle with his punch before leaving Krux in the kitchen, making his way out the same doorway Creed had left. " Alright, See you in four hours, man." It didn't take long before they both had left the kitchen and made their way to their rooms. Bellies full of food and drink, both were out within minutes.
Creed had made her way back to her room, stuffed into her vanity, staring at her reflection. Thoughts were running wild in her head at this point, how her life had changed so quickly and drastically. She hadn't realized that within a few short weeks. Everything changed, and now it was spiraling again. Tilting her head which way and that, She stared hard at her reflection, Taking small notes of how since she accepted her wolf, how much her facial tone had shifted, how sharp her nose had become, and how her eyes were brighter in color. She wasn't sure what to think of the change, but the longer she sat there, the harder she stared." I wonder if everyone else went through these changes or just me.."As she sat there thinking about Everything that went into her, Garon came knocking away at her door."Anyone home? Yah know. It's getting late, and you should be in bed already." His Dorkish personality drew her from her mirror, smiling at her brother's friend." It's only eight o clock. It's not that late. Find anything?"Turning on her chair, Creed faced Garon now with her legs tucked beneath her, leaning into the desk." Well, I did find some paperwork on your parents, receipts, and past medicals, but that all refer to you. I wonder if they wanted you dead so severely..why would they help Kuja take care of you? Something doesn't add up." Garon had sighed, leaning himself into the bedroom doorway, watching the girl with a silent regime of remorse." I wonder if there's been any progress in Kuja's healing. I should go check it out; You need to sleep. We have a long day ahead of us tomorrow; we begin our meeting, then training, and when I say we. I mean all of us, You included Creed. You're not getting out of this one. No Tantrum will do you any good." He smiled before waving a hand and shutting her door, leaving her in a small disgruntled state of irritation. She grew up around Garon, Justin and Krux, so they knew her temper fits and getting her way with her brother, but it didn't seem to work now. Shoving from her chair, Creed got herself ready and hopped her way into bed, staring at her ceiling for a little while before falling asleep, leaving reality behind for some time. Tomorrow was going to be fun.
