Later that afternoon, they started treading the unfamiliar path northwest back to Draldril. Lavina and Carlia, who had already settled their past issues and had forgiven themselves, remained friends. Although the latter admitted that her love for Lavina was still there, whatever her decision would be, she would respect it. The two witches who felt responsible for the magical barriers in the east and west of Nirad that hindered the shorter path navigating to both major cities of Nirad back and forth, had finally removed them. After so many years, the witches and orcs can finally pass back and forth without the trouble of crossing the formidable Golgami Canal.
"Have a safe journey back to Draldril!" Lavina and the witches chorused as they began their trip back to the orcs' home.
