Once Mika disappeared inside the building, Alanis immediately returned to his dimension and after connecting with it, he conjured up a kind of mirror in front of him and saw Mika walking quietly through a maze of corridors to stop in front of a door with the word 'Secretariat' written on it.
Thanks to this mirror he could spy on his slightest movements and while Mika made his request to drop out of school as he told him he would, he asked to his dimension which other tasks the leader of the Phoenix clan had given him.
Lucas hadn't sent him in this specific world just to be able to get the 3 magic pills he needed, he had told him that when he came out of his meditation he would be able to find his intructions in the dimension's memory, and that he would just have to connect to it to have access to them.
And after having some fun with his little Guardian it was time for him to get to work, he was really very curious to discover the tasks that his clan leader wanted him to accomplish.
A hologram of Lucas appeared then and the message began, Lucas explained to him that the alliance of the phoenixes, the nine-tailed foxes and the griffins would allow them to resist until he could return among them, but the war was taking its toll and their resources would certainly suffer.
Lucas explained to him that he not only had to find the 3 magic pills that he needed to be able to evolve his mystic core into a celestial core, he also had to use this dimension to store all the magic herbs he could find.
He explained to him that there was no point in buying magic pills because they had enough mages there to make them and he told him that if ever the magic pills he needed were not available, he should just make sure to get the magic herbs needed to make them and then they would make them for him there.
Lucas reassured him that the world of Gadreel was a world that had been created to train elite warriors and mages, and that this world was like a supplier of unlimited resources.
He also told him not to feel guilty and that no matter how many resources he took, more would always appear, hence the term he used, 'unlimited resources'.
Lucas finished his message with something that made him smile, according to his estimates a normal phoenix would need an average of 3,000 years to accomplish this second task, but he told him that he hoped he could have it accomplished in 2,000 years.
And he reminded him before wishing him luck and ending the message that failure of this mission was not an option and that they were all counting on him.
Alanis was well aware of his responsibilities as the future leader of the phoenix clan, and he wondered if Mika would accept to share his burden with him, or if he would abandon him in front of the weight of the responsibilities that weighed on his shoulders.
But by wanting to tease Mika he had already revealed much more to him than he had wanted to at first, if he wanted him to stay by his side as was supposed to be the case for anyone who had received a permanent print, he was going to have to make sure that Mika couldn't and wouldn't leave him.
Before starting to work he made the holographic screen of the system appear again and as the list of Mika's contacts was still empty he couldn't help but mark his territory a little more and use a contact name that would make his heart skip a beat... At least he hoped so.
And now that he had something to occupy himself with he navigated the interface and connected to the Guardians' market.
Mika, who was only a level 0 Guardian, didn't have access to many resources but that was good, he was a thousand years ahead of what his clan leader had planned, so he had plenty of time to think of the best way to store resources.
And while Alanis was busy finding the best way to store the magic herbs he would collect, Mika had just finished filling out his dropout form and after going through the principal's office who tried to dissuade him, which was a waste of time, Mika finally arrived at his classroom.
He gave a copy of the dropout form to his teacher and the secretary's note to excuse him for being late and when he saw that his supposed girlfriend was sitting next to his best friend, he smiled at them and went to sit at the back of the classroom where there was a free table.
As his arrival had created a lot of commotion in the class, the teacher finally called for silence and he continued his math lesson.
Mika didn't care about the looks of sympathy that his classmates were giving him, just by seeing the guilty look that his 'girlfriend' and his best friend had given him, he had immediately understood that they had gotten together in his absence and he was actually so relieved, it would avoid him the complications he had feared.
And now that his teacher knew about his school dropout, he wouldn't waste his time questioning him, so he was free to do what he wanted.
He decided to start by questioning the central system about this world because Mikail knew only a small part of it, and the only thing he knew was that this world was vast and that it was divided into two continents.
And so the central system explained to him that the Continent A was the one reserved for humans and Guardians who only had a level 1 license, once he could buy a level 2 Guardian license and reached level 4 he would be automatically be teleported to Continent B.
When he asked the central system why, it told him that it was to ensure the safety of ordinary humans, because the powers of the Guardians became more and more important as they leveled up and that the damage they could do became a real threat to the population.
