Mika had no intention of telling him, first of all because it was Mikail's problems and not his own, and he didn't want Alanis to question his sincerity, so he told him, "It's a couple of friends who came to play hypocrites... Look Alanis, I have no intention of keeping in touch with anyone here, so it doesn't matter, okay?"
He then turned his head and he couldn't help but exclaim, "You cut your hair... and bought new clothes..."
Alanis quickly forgot about this couple, Mika had just told him that he had no intention of keeping in touch with them anyway, so he asked him instead, "How do I look? Does this new look suit me well?"
Mika had to admit that this new style fit him perfectly, and he said with a smile, "It suits you very well, you look great like this."
His new haircut gave him a bad boy look that made him even more handsome, and as for his new clothes, that were of a superior quality and you could see it clearly, this new chic and casual style gave him an aura of power that reflected his personality very well.
Alanis held his hand out to him and he said, "Let's go to the hotel to eat, the food has just arrived."
And when he saw Mika looking around he said to reassure him, "Do not worry, those who stay here will not notice your absence, I promise."
He then took him in his arms and he said, "You'll get used to it my little Guardian, you'll see, these humans are so weak that it is very easy to make them believe anything."
Mika then asked him curiously, "Have you tried it with me?"
Alanis' smile widened as he said, "Yes I have tried, and I don't know why but I can't get into your mind, it's very frustrating by the way, but luckily for me, my natural charm has already put a spell on you."
Mika shook his head helplessly and while laying his head in the crook of his neck he then said, satisfied that he couldn't make him believe whatever he wanted, "Let's eat."
Once the lunch break was over Alanis brought him back to his classroom and as he had promised no one noticed his absence, and after his classes he came back to pick him up and together they went to give his letter of resignation to his employer.
When everything was done, they returned to the dimension and Mika randomly chose a low level dungeon with 2 stars on the map that was displayed in front of them showing all the dungeons he was allowed to loot.
He quickly changed into a jogging pants and a black tank top to be comfortable to fight and he took the two daggers he had bought earlier and had remained in his inventory until now.
After Alanis teleported them in front of this dungeon, he twirled the daggers in his hand with expert movements and he was satisfied to see that they were perfectly well balanced and very easy to handle.
Alanis who had enjoyed the view when Mika had changed and now saw him handling the daggers like a professional, found him really sexy, but he remained focused because dungeons were dangerous places and Mika at the moment was still really weak and could be killed easily even with his print on him.
And Mika who could feel that Alanis was worried, before crossing the black hole that was on the ground in front of them, chose to remind him not to intervene even if he had to get hurt, and that he had to let him fight alone.
Alanis wasn't very happy with this arrangement but he nodded because only with this kind of determination could Mika become a level 12 Guardian.
He had searched the records of this world through this central system and he had discovered that in the last 1,000 years, only two Guardians had made it to level 12 and both were mages who had gone to live on Nihava.
Gadreel was not aware of the situation on Nihava, because once in Nihava, the Guardians had much more to stay than to leave, and so no one ever came back to inform Gadreel that a terrible war was devastating Nihava.
While the Guardians here were limited to level 12 and no matter what they did they couldn't get stronger, on Nihava they could continue to progress infinitely.
And once they reached level 20, the Guardians were considered legendary beings and enjoyed the same benefits as them, i.e. they became immortal.
With this reward, no Guardian wanted to leave, and even if they wanted to, once they reached level 13 they couldn't go back to Gadreel because the maximum level for a Guardian in this world was level 12, and therefore its access was forbidden to them, it was probably a way for this world to protect itself.
Of course all these rules did not apply to Alanis because he was not a Guardian and while he was distracted by his thoughts he was quickly brought back to reality when he saw Mika jump into the black hole without even waiting for him.
He followed him immediately but these few seconds of delay made him very anxious.
Only, once he finally landed in the dungeon and after that a flash of light blinded him which made him growl in frustration, he realized that he had been worried for nothing.
Mika was already fighting a dozen wild dogs and what he saw amazed him. Mika was simply amazing, while he was stabbing some directly in vital points, he sent one of them waltzing into other wild dogs with a kick, slowing them down enough to finish killing the ones that were already attacking him.
Mika, who was fighting against the wild dogs, while in the first dungeon he had faced rabbits first, immediately felt the difference in level of this dungeon.
And just like the rabbits, the wild dogs kept appearing as he was killing them, fortunately, and probably thanks to Alanis' print, he was faster and he didn't feel any tiredness, on the contrary, this new energy that he now felt circulating in his veins thanks to the adrenalin of the fight was very intoxicating.
