She was driving him nuts. Calling him sexist?
"Before you start laying out accusations, I just thought you needed a day off because you almost got raped by the same guy you once loved, I just thought that it must have hurt and you deserved to rest after that but I guess that means that I'm sexist"
Her voice lowered and she suddenly felt bad
"I'm sorry for saying that. What happened hurt, it still hurts but it would hurt more if I let it stop me from doing what's important to me. Thank you for putting my feelings into consideration but this presentation is something I must do"
