"Did they at least tell you why they're splitting up?"
"My dad cheated on my mum with his secretary and now he wants to leave her and marry his secretary instead"

"He doesn't even care about how that makes us feel. He wants us to leave the house. He doesn't love us. He never did. I find it very hard to believe that he is my dad. How can he not care about his blood like this? He is supposed to be my dad and he is practically throwing my mum and I into the streets" okay maybe she was exaggerating a little. Her dad was getting married to his secretary and chasing them out of the house but he wasn't sending them to the streets, he was sending them to live in one of his penthouses in the city.
