Jessie sighed.
"We'll make it work no matter what. No matter how far we are" Long distance didn't scare Jessie, she knew what she felt for him. It took her almost seventeen years to feel that way. She wasn't going to give up what they had just because they were apart. It was going to be hard but what they had meant a lot to her
"Four years is a long time to be apart" Xavier stated
"I know but… we can do it. Together forever right? We'll still meet during the holidays and some weekends if it's possible" Jessie said and squeezed his hand gently to cheer him up
It clearly didn't work. He had a look on his face and opened his mouth to say something but instead he just said
"Yeah"
Jessie knew he had something to say. She could see it from the way he let go of her hand and refused to look at her
"What?" She asked
"What?" He asked back
"There's something on your mind. Just say it" she indulged him
