"Her phone is switched off? Where has she gone? Miss Katy can you find her. I searched her everywhere in town but she is nowhere to be found, don't tell me she's disappeared into thin air." Ah, this girl will never change. If I passes atleast one day peacefully because of this girl, my life will be successful." He was really worried about Polly. But the Ai looked normal.
"Now, what happened to you Miss Katy? Why are you so quiet? Please help me!" He cried out loud.
"She's where she needs to be and she's safe too." She answered calmly.
"What? Where is she...? Is she in the world of smartphone?" Out of panic, he asked a ton of questions at once.
"You ran away knowing that your friend was sad. You didn't stop for another 5 minutes until Iseul turns off her alarm. How could I even tell you?" the AI replied arrogantly.
"Oh! So it was my fault... I'm sorry." He replied shivering.
"The Peter of this world is in school, let's take him with us." said little Polly.
"Yeah, sure."
They reached school. But their school's building was too big for the real Polly to enter. So, the shrunken Polly asked her to wait outside. And then went inside the building to fetch Peter. She wanted him to join them too.
"Let's go Peter," said Polly, pulling Peter's hand. "Let me finish my lunch, Miss Polly." She went in and upon finding him in the cafeteria, she simply dragged him out to introduce him to the real Polly.
"What is it Miss Polly? Why are you in such a hurry? Please let me finish my lunch first."
"Stop whining Peter. There's someone here I want to introduce you to."
"What? Who do you want me to meet?" His head was shaken.
And as soon as he came out, he saw the big Polly, his eyes widened, he was really surprised. He looked like a child in front of her. " Miss Polly you are here with me. Who is she then?" He was so panicked, his heart started beating fast and he fainted. When he woke up after a while, he was horrified at the sight of the big Polly. Little Polly told him everything in a nutshell. He felt a little relieved and said
"You should have told me everything about this before I fainted. I can help you, don't worry. I'll show you the way."
"Miss Big Polly, at first you scared me, but I think you are better than Miss Polly of this world." He was trying to change the intense mood, so he started cracking silly jokes.
"You know Peter. You should just focus on showing her the doorway." She yelled.
" Okay! Fine! don't you scare me like that..." said Peter nervously.
They had to go far. So they took the help of a floating taxi to reach the gate. But Miss Polly was too big to fit in so she chose to follow them by foot. When she was walking, everyone was stunned to see such a big character in their small town. This moment was a bit embarrassing for her but she diverted herself thinking about Gim-Iseul.
"Ah! It's so boring here without Miss Polly. Wait, will she be okay there? No—if something happens to her. And she faces any trouble to enter the real world, this time she'll be really broke." Computer's Peter was really nervous.
Which made the AI very angry. And she was forced to shout "Can't you keep quiet for a moment? If you're so worried for your friend then call the headquarters of Iseul-shi's phone and find out whether she's there. Otherwise you can go to that world the next time the door appears."
"Okay...I can do that but can you please help me connect with HQ?" He got scared.
The AI did not say anything in return. Rather giving an impassioned look, she tried to connect to the headquarters of the smartphone.
"Hi, this is Gim-Iseul's phone's Write-Ups world's headquarters, how can I help you?" The caller was the same cop, I mentioned earlier. It seemed as if it was his duty to receive the calls from the headquarters.
"Umm...hi, I'm Peter from the computer version of Gim-Iseul-Shi's new story. And I just wanted to know if Miss Polly of this world got there safely."
"Oh, so you're talking about that big ghost girl. Yeah, I saw her and I think she'd even met her shrunken self. I was there when they bumped into each other." The cop replied.
"Her own mini self?" He murmured to himself in confusion.
"The thing is, when you were first created here. You were made there too. But because she made you originally using her computer instead of the phone. They are just fake versions of you and as far as I know, they can't even enter the real world like you do. Her feelings are only connected to you and the other original characters of this world especially Polly." Miss Katy, the AI, explained to him everything in a nutshell, as he seemed a little confused.
"So here we are, Miss Big Polly. This is where the door to the outside world opens from her phone. You just sit here and wait until she uses her phone."
"I hope she turns on her phone today." said little Polly.
"She will ! she will ! I'm sure, I just need to wait for her." The big Polly sat against the wall where the door used to open. The little Polly and Peter went back to their places. Peter returned to his uncle's house and Polly went back to the school which had become her permanent home after death. Yet she waited sitting near the big Polly till the power went off and the whole city was silent. Everyone had gone to sleep early, they didn't have much work to do, as Iseul never used her phone much. It was dark everywhere. Polly was so scared, she was on the verge of crying.
And then suddenly the door to the real world opened. Which was like a dream come true moment for her. Her eyes widened in surprise.
Because it was actually quite a surprising thing. That the door opened so quickly because Gim-Iseul never used her phone much.
Then, what would be the reason?
