I searched around the ship for hours yet I couldn't find him. The strong sea breeze almost brought crazy feelings into me
"still looking for your friend?" a familiar male's voice asked, looking backwards it was Valnor
"Yes, he should have at least be around places where I can easily find him" I was starting to get a worried
"okay, I'm sure my butler can help f...."
"don't worry, thanks alot for the help but sometimes I need to just do things by myself, I'm a detective" I made my words as polite as ever
"okay, if you say so" he narrowed his eyes at me before leaving
I went to various rooms searching for him but still couldn't find a trace. There is just one room I haven't searched, the engine room
Quietly moving down the iron stairs, I went to the lowest part of the ship. It was quite warm with different pipes connected to each other, the gas which left some weren't that harmful, nor poisonous, they were like shooting hot steams
"Williams?" my voice echoed through the room but still no reply
I swiftly moved towards the corners but still no one....
"looking for Williams here?" the same familiar soft warm male's voice whispered softly behind me
Nervously turning back I saw Valnor again
"Valnor! how did you find me here?" shocked as I was, I still kept my cool
"well, I followed you and also my butler still had some points in this" his smile was unending but still as a detective I knew fully well Something was off
"where you stalking me?" I had to take a grip on myself, this man Valnor is actually acting strange
"I'm a noble gentleman I will never do such an impertinent act" he said quite serious
Taking a deep breath enough to fill the lungs, I relaxed myself preventing any further more suspicious questions from rising. Valnor and I searched the entire engine room afterwards but still, there was no sign neither trace of him
The sun was already setting and hope felt lost. Already tired and frustrated, I sat down close to the edge. Everyone was already in their cabin while I sat here watching the night fall
"my lady you look down, I'm fully sure my butler can help find him" valnor sat close to me with his legs crossed, "why do you look for this Williams so bad?"
"Williams is my childhood friend and also the only person I can count on... he has always been there for me, Everytime..... I don't know where he's now..."
"well, he's in the ship's caboose"
The voice was quite elegant, turning back I saw a man dressed in the best butler cloth, he look gracious
"wait he's where!!!"
"he's in the ship caboose my lady" the butler was also polite
"Lee I want you to meet my butler Arnold, Arnold this is Lee a detective" valnor introduced us
I couldn't speak temporarily when I saw this man's appearance, butter would melt instantly melt in any living soul's mouth on one gaze.
His long black hair fell elegantly, he was the representation of a god, nothing wasn't perfect on him. With his black hair, he had purple eyes, sparkling purple evil looking eyes.
Bowing respectfully, he slightly smiled...
"I'm glad to be meeting you Miss lee"
"You too Arnold, thanks alot for finding my foolish friend" I smiled back sweetly before storming towards the caboose, valnor and his butler still followed along
There were lights everywhere and the chefs were busy slicing, chopping and doing different expert techniques to the delicacies
Not far away, Williams was busy taking to a chef
"WILLIAMS!"
My sharp loud voice made him flinch backwards and also made all the chef stop what they were doing
"Oh! Lee, looks like you were searching the skies for me" what he said almost made me explode
"she has been searching for you throughout the day, none stop, for hours!" valnor sounded annoyed
"I was super sure she would find me at the end" that was it, I've taken enough of William's talking
Grabbing a large fry pan, I launched towards him, steps not talking a break
"Williams!!!" my voice sounded like warriors in a battlefield
"Yes?" he replied, but when he saw the fry pan coming his direction, he knew fully well it was me, "I'm doomed"
The fry pan landed on his face.
